My date is set for June 15th
at Brighton
I noticed you mentioned Brighton in a previous post about bank accounts. Is there a problem with getting a basic bank account in Brighton after BR?

The worst part of BR for me has been the psychological aspect. The court hearing, the interview with the OR and the practicalities have really not been that bad, to be honest. And the year really has gone very quickly.

Hi Mismanagement and Welcome to June's BR Club, Dojoman will add your name to the front page :beer:

In the past the Brighton OR's have left the Basic accounts frozen but I do believe some are now allowing them to still run, sorry I'm a bit vague. If you have opened a Barclays or Coop basic account when you speak to the OR ask them if you can use this account as pay and DD's are going through it and do let us know how you get on.

Hi and welcome to the forum as If has already said things are bit hazy with the Brighton OR, in the past they were the only ones that made you actually close the account and open a new one post BR, but we have had reports that this is not always the case, again as IF has said please let us know how you get on with them:)
