Hi, I've finally got my appointment to go BR on Friday, after having to postpone it twice. I'm absolutely petrified now, but in a way can't wait. Wish I would have someone to come with me though to hold my hand.

Try not to worry ( easier said then done I know) but you will be fine, the peeps are the courts have seen it all before and are usually very nice to deal with.

I did it! Today was my appointment day - felt strange but also very good, I was excited all of yesterday. Just to be taking some action, finally. Now the harder part, the OR interview, and the waiting.

Maybe its strange but somehow I was relieved to see the other people there for the same thing - not that I wish it on anyone, but glad to see I'm not the only one, and these other people looked nice & normal & good people too.

Even stranger but I was an hour early for my appointment, because I was nervous not to be late, and there was a blood clinic next door so I used the time to give blood. I've never given blood before - guess I thought it would keep my mind off things until my appointment - ha! And lying there with a needle in my arm, blood pumping out, felt somehow like an apt penance or a metaphor or SOMETHING Anyway it was a productive way to kill the hour, and has made for an eventful day overall!

Hi everyone, welcome to the June 2011
Bankruptcy Club.

This club is for everyone who has gone through the process of Bankruptcy during June 2011. So please feel free to join and post.

Pop your name on here, the date that you went Bankrupt and the stage that you are at now in your Bankruptcy. And then just keep everyone in the club updated throughout the next year about your journey through Bankruptcy. That way we can all stick together and compare notes and we will be there to support each other throughout the different stages in our Bankruptcy.

Remember this is your board so keep posting.

Obviously anyone can come on here and post anything that will help us all and you are all welcome. Any important questions that do need answering are maybe still better posted on the main board but if you do put it on here, then maybe we can help each other.

Hopefully it will be an extra place for friendship and support as we compare notes and discuss what is happening with our Bankruptcies.
