Incidentally, back on the partitioning/hiding question, you certainly can hide the C drive, as they've done that here at work. That said, you can see it by typing "C:" into windows explorer, so it's not that well hidden.0

You'd have to edit the group policies to restrict access...
I remember back in the Windows 95 days, getting around restrictions at the library was a matter of typing " into the address bar of internet explorer (literally just the speech mark), and it opened up an Explorer window to the desktop. Using this window, you could then navigate the contents of the rest of the computer without restriction.0
