I pre-ordered two Wii games 1. Zelda and 2. Need for Speed from them back in November and used some discount codes.
These games could have easily been bought when I got my Wii but as they where cheaper from HMV (with discounts ) I left them 'on special order from suppiers'.
Anyway fed up of excuses so went down Game and bought them and cancelled the order.
I don't think that I will be ordering from them in the future - I like reliability0 -
We had exactly the same with Singstar Rocks. We ordered it about 2 weeks ago and despite it saying 3-5 days on the website, on my order page it said on special order with suppliers. I phoned to chase after about a week but customer services could not tell me anymore (it was still showing as 3-5 days on the website). So i have now cancelled the order. I notice now it is saying 'may not ship before christmas'. Pity they hadn't told us that before we ordered!!*Don't let the b******s get you down

You can email directly from your HMV account page but I would not bother as they don't respond to emails
my order from the start of the month from HMV had still not been shipped today so I decided going into town and purchasing it from Virgin and have just cancelled my online order with HMV as it was for a christmas present.
Once my orders have been completed with HMV I won't be using them again as they are useless and state items are in stock when they are not as all my order say with "to be ordered from supplier" or "on special order with supplier"
Poor customer service and you can wait 17+ minutes to get through on the phone and they don't even tell you anything of any use and they don't bother responding to emails0 -
just checked my account, says "On special order with our suppliers" when I ordered yesterday it said "will ship before christmas"
Doesn't look like we will have wii play before christmas then.0 -

I ordered 5 Rab C Nesbitt DVDs from the site at least 3 weeks ago . Was going to buy them in store , but the site was slightly cheaper and I had an e-voucher to get £3 off . All 5 said In Stock , but as off today I'm still waiting . Says On Special Order With Our Supplier in My Account .
To make it worse I happened to walk past the store in Belfast the other day , and I thought I would go in just to see if had any of the DVDs in store and they had all 5 sitting on the shelves .0 -
Ordered 2 items 29/11- received one shortly after. Still not received the others, despite an email saying they have been dispatched. Have called several times- get cut off each time after 10 mins. They have failed to reply to 2 emails. Went instore in HMV- they cannot help.
Am gutted as these were pressies for my OH and my mum...0 -
same thing here with the wii play. showed as ok for Xmas delivery but today in my account it said on special order. useless site.
i cancelled and ordered from Game £34.99 less £5 voucher code from hotdeals so £29.99. might be a couple of quid more than hmv but in stock now so worth it in my book.
this is the 4th time hmv have done this to me, not going to bother with them again, unless some fantastic misprice comes along.0
