I bought a car which had a 12 month mot cert put on it but the garage said it had an advisory note about the seatbelt being frayed, but the advisory note isnt attached to the certificate. I just wanted to check on it.

Ihave stuck it on ebay with all I know is wrong with it. So if anyone is nosey I'm sure it will be easy to find! Spoke to a traffic officer who confirmed that it has an mot however if stopped it could be classed as driving a dangerous vehicle etc
Cheers for the help0 -

As mollycat said, yes...
go to the website, scroll down to 'MOT history check'
You'll need the vehicle reg number and the MOT test number from the VT20 or the VT30 or the document reference from the V5.

The offence of fraud my mis representation is knowingly decieving someone, if asked about something. You do not have to tell people anything but you must answer truthfully otherwise you have knowingly decieved to gain and cause a loss to another.0

If we want to be exact about what the law says, the RTA does say that it is an offence to sell an unroadworthy car.The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0
