Winston Churchill used to build walls for relaxation. He was an old war horse but he did leave nettles to grow for butterflies. Somehow that made him seem more ordinary.
I love it that people know these sort of odd but interesting facts :T:T:T
Yesterday sounded like a very good day :j:T:j
So pleased the wall is still standing, how high will it be by the end of the day?:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
only 2 breeze blocks high - that's how high it's getting :rotfl: :rotfl:
Just been out and given it a good kick - and it's still standing:rotfl: :rotfl:

LOL. I can remember all sorts of useless things but often can't remember what day of the week it is. :rotfl:CheeryDaff wrote:Just been out and given it a good kick - and it's still standing

I once saw a pilot do this . It obviously passed as they took off okA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Wow! Energy levels here sky high, I am lost in admiration. Especially when I'm looking at that wall

Welcome back KC! :T :T
Energy levels are indeed sky high today :T :T :T
Had another GORGEOUS day, although slightly less hectic yesterday (and we were told off for not lining our trolley up properly in Aldi, and not packing our shopping quickly enough   Shan't bother going there again - I only went because we were on that side of town for something else, and I was convinced it was a Lidl, and when we got to it and it wasn't, I had no idea where Lidl was :rotfl: :rotfl:)
Anyway, rest of the day at the free city-wide music festival thing has been gorgeous :T :T Just got back home after camping out in the park for a few hours :j :j :j How lovely :j :j
Quick cuppa - then going to build the rest of the wall! :rotfl: No rest for the wicked :rotfl: :rotfl:
(MUST remember I'm at work tomorrow, and heading up to the far north (well, past Durham anyway ), so need to make lunch and get everything ready tonight!)0 -
Lovely place Durham. I met Sir Bobby Charlton on a train to Durham. He looked after me by taking my laptop case and suitcase and putting them on the rack and then scooting me in to sit by the window while he sat next to me. Lovely man. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0
