So all that praying paid off then?
:rotfl: :rotfl: but the lightening strike was *before* we got together (makes someone all the more interesting, don't you think??) - must have been a previous ex girlfriend praying

Shock news of the day - we didn't go the WI   Well, we did, but there wasn't much left in the way of tasty cakes, so we shuffeld off to a different cafe instead -quite unheard of :eek:0 -
Oooh careful cheery,
all this habit breaking could shake the earth off it's axis
I had Weils disease once, nasty fluorescent bilious type of thing & caused by intense intoxication leading to feeling of invincibilty & 'borrowing' boat , rowing off up the river & then falling in while trying to transfer into another boat.
Serves me right really, had all sorts of meds, felt close to death & have since avoided water when boozy ... although there was the great 1996 'Thames concealed by stinging nettle patch' incident whilst demonstrating high jump skills. that was the last time I bought & wore a pair of white jeans.

blimey Lula
(although that now settles it - I now know 2 people who've had it - which makes it even less likely that I'd get it)
Nice slow pottering day todayHad a bit of a joint tidy up, done some washing, friend popped round for a cuppa on the way somewhere else, and just waiting for another friend to turn up on her way home
I like days like these

Weirdly, I kind of like the fact that me having had it, means you probably now won't
Sounds like a lovely day

Lovely sunny day hereMeeting a friend for lunch - although we're both so indecisive that we have no idea where we're going with only 3 hours to go - we've had nearly 4 weeks to make a decision. Hoping hunger will make us act.
Other than that? Another nicely relaxing pottering day0 -
How wonderful that we're practically all free of the fear of Weil's disease

Morning!
It's that time of the month where I start to fret a little about the pesky bank account, it's been left to its own devices for about 3 weeks and they tend to misbehave :rotfl: :rotfl: And I can remember a few things I've bought that I wouldn't usually have done (running shoes, underwear...) so it's about time to check up on it since I'm not paid for another 9 days..,
Off to investigate - will report back...0
