I asked this question when someone I know said that they have 2 weddings to go to for the next 2 Tuesdays!! I think it's a two-fold cost thing 1. cheaper than at the weekend and 2. only close family and friends will take the day off so fewer numbers :rotfl:0 -

I'm here in a lurking sort of way, feeling a bit less uptight about the job problems and have done my planning for the week so that's all sorted, all I need to do now is fly in the evenings when I get in from work!!!
Have caught up with the washing today so OH can iron tomorrow, need to hoover but DD was in bed all day (she works nights) so that has had to wait.
Right off for an earlyish night
xxxGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
just on my way to bed and read fred, DH has now dared me to tell you his siter married a Womble, they live about 5 miles from us on Jolly Common, his sister hated elizabeth beresford :rotfl:
so while I might not actually be a womble, I am sort of related to several:rotfl:Sue
Do I need to eat it
Can I afford the calories:eek:
have I checked for a lower calorie version:T0 -

Kipling so sorry to hear of your Mum's passing, be kind to yourself sweetie
Blue Ellie Start slowly would be my advice and see what works for you. For example I prefer to hoover all of upstairs in one go on one day and then dust/tidy each room on other days. Some like to finish a complete room. Little and often is the key. Having a plan makes time more productive too.
Must do a bit of ironing now, an hour after I intended as my mother has just got back of holiday so rang. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Gobsmacked! I've been to Friday and Sunday weddings, as it seems that venues get booked up 2 years in advance, but that takes the biscuit!
Toots - wasnt Tobermory the Scottish womble?0 -
I got married on a Thursday 24 years ago, and we chose it because the date had significance to us but it was small and quiet as we wished. There can be strong reasons for weddings on any day, not just Saturdays..
climbs off hobby horse...
1 hours ironing done, now do I do another HHI and get it finished or get up early tomorrow? Hmm, cuppa first
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -
