  • I'm in - I need to be as have parents arriving for next weekend, half term is rapidly approaching and I have a very confused week then!

    This week I need to
    Turn into a B & B by Thursday
Do another big listing session on Ebay
    Sort out selling old car
    Steam clean carpets
    Seat pads in dining room
Write my toots list as needed for July's events

    OK - HHI I think...with some rubbish telly & a cold beer

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.

Valli - I suspect that she doesn't want to say in case in messes up her brother's plans and he gives her grief, but piggers is right (happens occasionally :p). You need to insist that she tells them that she's been invited to yours and is planning on staying, otherwise you'll have to treat them like children and ring them yourself. And if you do that they might ask you where she's sleeping...

Ironing done. Pigpen ;) casserole and pea soup cooling ready to freeze tomorrow. Nine portions of soup already frozen. House is clean and tidy, paperwork filed, so the only thing left to do is make my bed... I thought about doing my tax return, but decided to have a relaxing Epsom salt bath and an early night instead :D

I'm in again - I did mainly daillies last week due to revision classes which involved usual bath mat washing etc, quick demould and clean of bathroom, HHI, lots of WM and hoovered all over the place

This week will be the same as its big massive exam day on Thursday and work all week. Might catch up a little on Wed which is a study day or known as last ditch revision day.

Then normal service will be resumed by the weekend and I'll be looking forward to some gardening, sparkling the house up again and generally slobbing about without thinking about studying for the first time since last Sept

Hello, I'm joining in for the first time :) I really want to try and make the house a nicer place for OH - I don't notice clutter and dust at all, he's ex-Navy and it drives him up the wall! He already does all the cooking, I'm supposed to do the laundry and the cleaning - well, the laundry gets done...:o

I'm going to start small, so on Monday I will do my best to:

    - Hoover the living room, hall and stairs (could be fun, one of our spaniels is terrified of the hoover, usually have to wait until OH is around to take the dogs out!)
    - remove dog covers from sofas, plump up sofa cushions, hoover out and replace.
    - declutter the coffee table and the side table next to my sofa
    - quick swish around with the duster

    Welcome

You're doing the right thing by starting small :D

I'm in this week...well as much as I can. I think Mum is crazy and in addition to looking after Nana, she is having my brother, SIL and 10 month old nephew to stay. Brother and SIL are going to a wedding on Tuesday (who gets married on a Tuesday??) so she is looking after my darling nephew too. Obviously, I'm spending Tuesday there too. She cant look after both of them at the same time. Its lovely how much Nana brightens up when she sees the LO, so maybe there's method in mum's madness!

I plan on doing all of the list tomorrow. The hall needs a really good dyson.
