That's what they aim for.
Now if this is your debt, it will be listed on yourt credit records. Do you have all three? The default date is what you need.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

Check for any sign of this debt on your credit records. If the default date is not listed, it will probably be statute barred already.
Which country are you in. SB is 6 years in England and Wales and 5 years in Scotland. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
I have checked my credit score and no its not listed. But that stupid woman on the phone insisted it was but isnt.
Check your credit records not your credit score - experian etc.
if it is not listed there, then this debt either is not yours, or it is so old you do not have to pay.
Can you stop the payment you authorised today? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

My son has also been contacted by HFO some weeks ago, i was put on the phone to speak to them as he was getting really angry, i told them again that he has never had a Barcley card but they refused to listen saying was his debt, they quoted addresses we had never heard of stating he had lived there. was on the phone for over 1 hour ! Didnt hear a thing till today when my son who has moved in with me went to his old flat and got his mail, he had 3 letters from HFO, all three were threatening court action, all three had a different amounts owing ! and all three had a discrepancy with the address !! One even said baliffs would be calling to remove goods but never heard of the address !!! Should i write to them ? Appreciate any advice . .0
