Surely if you were actually ill and not just here revelling in the additional attention you are getting from MSE, you wouldn't fanny around with 'lies' and 'unwell' and just say....

Why?! What you think she should have written has come from your incredibly rational and structured line of thinking, something which the OP, if really suffering from a mental illness and paranoia, could be forgiven for not possessing at the time she wrote her post. Especially considering that the first post was supposedly written whilst under shock / physical sickness...

"I think this thread should highlight to everyone who uses internet forums to seek advice on personal matters that not everyone who posts is telling the truth, and any advice/guidance/support you are given should be taken with a pinch of salt rather than blindly believing what everyone says. Cynical I maybe, but not everyone has your best interest at heart and some people thrive on misleading others, whether that be for their own personal gain to make themselves feel better, or to do harm to others."

wow, thats the most sensible thing i have heard on this forum for a few years, for every correct answer to a problem there seem to be ten incorrect and misleading ones on here, i wish people who "think" they know what they are talking about would state that they are clueless instead of trying to feed their own ego and mislead others , i find the best clue is to look at the time they have been a member for and divide it by the amount of posts, there are people on here who have averaged about 50 posts a day, every day, for a few years, they seem to have an opinion on everything and no idea about anything !

Could be they know you have lied and are now calling your bluff .

    I have been thinking this.

Parenting sites are mad places at the best of times. The problem is there will always been a nucleus of busy bodies who live in their ivory towers and revel in the misfortunes of others. These same people have very little real life, kids in school, DH working away, cleaner in twice a week etc etc. They will spend inordinate amount of time online with their "friends" and do not like it when they are played for fools by someone lying. They will go all out guns blazing, shallow threats of involving "da social services" but very rarely will one of them haul their boden clad backside off their chair and actually make that call.

OP - you have been a fool, you have been rumbled and in a way punished for your stupidity. Learn from it and move on. I doubt you will be having a knock on the door anytime soon. Leave the site you are referring to and take some time out from forumsville, spend the time you would have posting your "lies" on your health and family - you will find it liberating to get away from the computer.

How ridiculous, for a start how would the other forum know who the OP's Health visitor is and secondly why would they tell the OP that they'd contacted her HV and social services ? surely if they were so concerned about the OP's children then they wouldn't be giving her prior warning of a SS visit ..............

As the OP told her CPN she had written a tissue of lies on an anonymous internet forum and the CPN said it was harmless, it may have been therapeutic creative writing. Who knows? But that's the OP's explanation to SS which will be backed up by her CPN.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
