We could have a problem folks....just got back from Mr Ts - disaster! Bought the Kiev thingies, cheese selection, three bean salad and Turners Merlot. Rang up at a whopping £20.99. So I paid and went skipping over to CS hoping for DTD; first she said the cheese selection wasn't included; when i said i thought it was she went over the department to check. when she came back she said the cheese was included but the Turner's wasn't included!. i asked how she knew and she said she had checked "with the department" By now i was majorly late to pick up my son from playgroup so couldnt pursue it....got a refund...

Could she be right? how would I check? It was a complete pain cos now i haven't got anything for tea!

The Kiev are the problem ....
    from reading this...........

Not aimed solely at you, and gently, it might help if people stopped mentioning kievs , as kievs are not currently in the meal deal.
There you go another mention for kievs which are not currently in the meal deal.
Finest chicken cheddar & ham however are currently in the deal.
There, didnt feel a thing, hope this saves around ten posts from people asking why their deal didnt go through with something not currently in the meal deal.

    Chuffing Kievs...........

Hi.i have just had a look on Tescos web site and i have noticed it now has the three bean and mint salad as part of the meal deal.Is this new and does it mean they are going to change the food/wine options.

No, the bean & mint salad has always been there. Maybe it has only just come into stock on your website? The food/wine options will change after 7th June I think.

Thought I would let you all know Im currently eating the chicken in white wine sauce with asparagus and the rosemary roast pots and together they are delish!!!!!!! Word of advice, cook the chicken in the microwave to avoid it going 'hard' in the oven and the pots in the oven.

And to make it even better the OH can cook it very easily, as I'm confined to the sofa for a little while with some hip problems......I would say its the best dinner he has cooked, not very hard for him to mess it up :)

Im defo going to be buying that again

Definitely looks like it has always been there. My guess about 100 years looking in the pot.;)

I had the Spinach Red Pepper and Ricotta Lasagne and the roasted potatoes for dinner this evening and they are lovely - (cook in the oven) recommended:T

The bean salad is vile - Free or not Free.

I didn't like it as it was, but it was much better using a small quantity on top of a normal salad!!:D
