I dunno, but I got 2 meals at lunchtime with one of each wine and mine worked fine? I also got the non-kievs, but none of the other stuff you got (just went for sides).

EDIT: Mine was Stafford by the way, in case they are being funny regionally!

We could have a problem folks....just got back from Mr Ts - disaster! Bought the Kiev thingies, cheese selection, three bean salad and Turners Merlot. Rang up at a whopping £20.99. So I paid and went skipping over to CS hoping for DTD; first she said the cheese selection wasn't included; when i said i thought it was she went over the department to check. when she came back she said the cheese was included but the Turner's wasn't included!. i asked how she knew and she said she had checked "with the department" By now i was majorly late to pick up my son from playgroup so couldnt pursue it....got a refund...

Could she be right? how would I check? It was a complete pain cos now i haven't got anything for tea!

    No, she can't be right.

I've bought a mealdeal this morning which included the Turner Rd (in fact it was already in the chiller cabinet with the food).

It all went through OK at £10

Hmm... I just did a meal deal jobber earlier today including the Turners Merlot (which wasn't in the chiller cabinet, but separately on the shelf in the booze aisle) and it rang through fine at £10... might just be a funny with that particular store? Maybe try another store nearby?

If you're feeling brave you could print out the meal deal options on the website (including the Turners Merlot), buy what you did again and try your luck with the CS people for DTD... good luck! :T

Is it possible that you picked up the wrong size of cheese?
Someone posted in here before that there are two pack sizes and they look very similar.
As for the CS checking "with the department" it sounds like she meant she looked in the meal deal fridge and because the wine wasn't in there she decided it wasn't included.

I just added those to my basket:

    Chicken/cheddar/ham thing - NOT A KIEV!!!!! ;)
    Three bean whatsit
    Cheesy bits
    Red plonk

And I get the meal deal fine, but it says £12.18 saving. If you were charged £20.99 then the prices don't match?

Reckon that's exactly what happened. Maybe I did get the wrong cheese- it had three varieties and was in the meal deal fridge. Or maybe I picked up the wrong wine. I'm sure i didnt though - can't check cos I dont have original receipt. it is wierd it didnt ring up right at the till...I have phoned up CS who are going to speak to the store...watch this space

    Thats £1.40 too little for what you purchased, yours should have come to £22.18 (3.50 + 3.19 + 5.50 + 9.99).

I can't get any combination to add up to the amount they charged you, can only assume something rang through incorrectly?
