  • OMG I can't believe I've been SO daft! I bought a whole load of reduced items on the SAME receipt! I've got £1.06 when it should have been nearly £12.00. I don't even drink Chardonnay - I got it for the school tombola.

Thankyou. I was just concerned because when doing DTD before one of the terms and conditions was something like "basket must be [at least] 50% comparable". Wondered if that affect this... obviously not :j

Never heard of that condition before.

Hang on, I can no longer see the wine in FF but can in IE?

    http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/catalog/sectionpagecontainer.jsp?departmentid=1214921923747

Right, it seems that it is indeed geographical as in FF I am logged in but not in IE. When I logged in through IE it went missing again.

So, do Tesco work on a national level or is it dependant on your local store?

EDIT: And its my lunch break in a sec, was gonna go buy some. Not sure now!

Feel free to go and fill your boots. It doesn't matter a toss if it's not on Tesco (whether you're logged in or not). It only matters that it's on ASDA, and it is. Tesco compare with the national price and that's £4.06. In Tesco, it's £9.99.

We need a FAQ for this as I understand some are nervous but FGS just get out there and do it!

No. I think that may be the Asda price guarantee. When I first started I had it in my head I had to buy 8 comparable items ( a la Asda)...& thus ended up spending much more than I needed to.:( With Tesco, just one item is enough.:)

Its my local Asda it doesn't show for, not Tesco. It appears to be removed on a local level, as without cookies it shows up fine. So if Tesco work on a national level we are OK, if its local we are not.

Ariel stain remover £3 in tesco, £2 in asda. £1 coupon on beforeishop

So- Meal deal £10 + £3 ariel = £13 minus £11.90 voucher and £1 coupon = £0.10 to pay and adds a £1 to your new voucher total

    HTH

£2 coupon for the ariel on SSM :j so after JTD voucher, it's Free:T
