Thanks hun, I googled it and threads on other forums seemed to use the full nameComping wishlist for 2017
1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuffThe more you put into life, the more you get out0 -
Waltzed into my local T superstore and all the 'meal deal' goodies were in one cabinet (inc. Turner Rd white wine) so top marks there for Mr T.
However, at check out, the SA had not seen a voucher before and called the supervisor. In all the faffing about, I got my discount but the SA did nothing with my original receipt. I thought she had to mark it in some way, otherwise what's to stop me printing out another voucher and using it again ad infinitum until the original receipt is cancelled?
As a separate matter, the ladies behind me in the queue were dead impressed with the final total for my shopping today (87p) and I told them about the Tesco Price Check RTD. Nobody had heard of it---including the SA!! I felt like the Good Samaritan0 -
i cant believe ive only just checked this thread out.. i got a whopping £18.98 DTD on an overcharge for the finest meal deal today and thought id see if it was a bigger problem that you savvy savers had spotted and found this thread.
I noticed that the Turner Road both chardonnay and merlot were not on the 'meal deal' stand with the other wines that appear to be in the offer online.. does the meal deal work with Turner Road even if there are no yellow SEL labels?.. none of the meal deal labels are white in my local Mr Ts!
Anyhoo my dinner tonight shall taste much better as Mr T will be paying me to eat it!I LOVE MSE! :money:0 -

Please don't do this - it opens a can of worms and your original receitp number is on the first voucher and any subsequent voucher you print from it - it really isn't worth it. We would like this RTD offer to continue for all to share0 -

No, I wasn't planning on doing this, just musing about the possibility.
It did occur to me too that the voucher details would be logged somewhere and abuse would set alarm bells ringing.
I completely agree with you about keeping this offer rolling along, so don't worry about me re-using the voucher and spoiling it for everyone else.0 -
I tried to get a low calorie meal today, as my GF is on a diet. **** me these are unhealthy meals, the cheese mash contains 91% of your RDA of saturates and over 400 calories in just half a pack! The rosemary potatoes are much healthier, but still full of calories. Went for a chicken and asparagus too, as that seemed fairly lean.
Means the whole pack of meatballs and rosemary potatoes I ate to myself the other night was probably 3 days worth of food!0 -
I just spent my voucher from yesterday on 3 meal deals with the turner.
But at the till the total came to £35, we looked on the till and 2 meals had worked.
I had 3 mains (2 x pies and 1x fake kievs )
But as with the other day I bought 2 lots of sides for 2 of the deals and 1 one side and 1 dessert for the other meal.
I didn't have time to work it out at the till, especially as she didn't know that it should work with 2 sides instead of a dessert, so i asked her to cancel it and I would go and recheck what's what.
The supervisor came over to cancel and the girl mentioned that I thought I could have 2 sides.
She was adamant that it would only work as per the shelf! I said that I had bought 3 meals yesterday each with 2 sides instead of desserts and she told me that it was not possible, and that she knows everything about all the deals :rotfl:
I took my trolley back and bought one of each and it worked but thought it strange that one combination didn't work.
I just wondered whether if you buy 3 meals, do you have to do every meal with 2 sides or every meal with a dessert?
I definately picked up all items that work in the deal and the correct amount of each.
It was a little weird!0 -
We could have a problem folks....just got back from Mr Ts - disaster! Bought the Kiev thingies, cheese selection, three bean salad and Turners Merlot. Rang up at a whopping £20.99. So I paid and went skipping over to CS hoping for DTD; first she said the cheese selection wasn't included; when i said i thought it was she went over the department to check. when she came back she said the cheese was included but the Turner's wasn't included!. i asked how she knew and she said she had checked "with the department" By now i was majorly late to pick up my son from playgroup so couldnt pursue it....got a refund...
Could she be right? how would I check? It was a complete pain cos now i haven't got anything for tea!Make £10 a day May challenge
