NB almost certainly SA and CS won't realise this works, but you can just get them to check at the till by ringing it through.
Cheeseboard should still work too.I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!

Just got back from tesco - and regretting it after seeing all the complaints of vouchers not received on this thread. Forgot to submit mine on monday so I submitted 1 yesterday and 1 1st thing this morning so none of mine are late, yet. Worried now incase I have a load of hassle getting them!
Decided to go for the cheese today, got enough cheesecakes to last me till the end of the week as my oh is away will be getting through half the amount so wanted something that would keep. But thinking about it really, cheese might be the best option, as it keeps well and you can use it to make 'proper' meals aswell as getting slightly more for your money.
Thinking the chicken with cheese and ham is the best value main - after all you do get 2 good sized chicken breasts which arent cheap, also noticed their individual prices are £5.50 as opposed to the other mains which are £5.0 -
Sorry if off topic but I thought you that are annoyed by Tescos wll be interested (more likely more annoyed) in this article

Btw, can recommend cooking the mash in the oven and taking it out of the tub and putting it on a baking tray - this way you get lovely crispy cheesy bit round the edge! Eating it now for lunch with ham hock pie0

Well spotted Elektra. I would love to make a few comments here, but I don't want this present thread thread to go off-topic. It would be really nice of you to start a new thread.

As promised Mr T.
The Advertising Standards Authority
Dear Sirs,
I am writing to your body, on the hope that you can assist myself and many associates, who are at present being treated appallingly by Tesco PLC.
You may (or may not) be aware that Tesco brought a policy out in February where they guaranteed to beat Asda (Walmart) price. If, after you’d entered your receipt, into their online price checker system, it was found to be dearer, they would compensate you with the double the difference. A great marketing ploy, I think you’ll agree.
Sadly, shortly after bringing this policy into place (a day before the Royal Wedding to be exact) they quietly cancelled the policy, and replaced it with just the difference. This again was in the form of a voucher.
Unfortunately since that day, it was advertised again as DTD in a large advert in a National Newspaper, but they blamed it on a third party.
A latest ploy of Tesco is to delay (or not provide) a voucher, and blame it on their computer system. Even though they are still happy to advertise this policy.
There are dozens (if not hundreds) of us in a very awkward situation. Some can’t go to Asda because it is too far from where they live, and rely on this policy to get a refund, if Tesco cannot match Asda’s prices. Many are vulnerable people, including elderly and less well off, and they are therefore being misled, in my view.
On their website it clearly states
14) Why does it take up to 36 hours to get my results back?
In most cases, your results should come through much sooner than this. Our new price check website has to find your receipt details from the millions of transactions that have occurred in the last 28 days in a Tesco store or online at Tesco.com. We then match all of your products against the ASDA products and prices on that day, and send you an email with the result. This can take a bit of time for our systems to process this information.
Yet many have been waiting since last Friday. If they can’t honour this policy, surely it is upto ASA to come down on them, and request removal of such claims. I understand that you now have a statutory obligation to investigate. Tesco themselves are not interested in any of the complaints, and I therefore feel justified in requesting you look into this on my behalf.
It is likely you may get similar emails to mine, as unfortunately not everybody has the time to draft a complaint. I have also provided a screenshot of the policy, as requested by your online complaints page.
Yours sincerely
