  • All they are doing is a cut and paste exercise and using the same template every time. Three have promised me all of this in writing !

I have also gone around and around in circles with 3 and am very unhappy about this.

But can we complain to the communications ombudsman because 3 are not on their participating companies list?

Oops my mistake they are in the list - I just didn't spot them.
Sorry about that... now to send in my complaint.

There's another way out we think, but I don't wish to post it in public just yet as someone made reference to Three keeping tabs on this thread. Can one or two of you who commented earlier in the thread, and are bound by contract at the moment, please drop me a private message if you're available to make a call to customer services in the next couple of hours? Thanks!

Okay, I'm confident this is another way out the contract(and despite Three's stance, I still feel the first was/is valid grounds for walking).

Waiting for feedback from a couple of people, but I don't think it's hugely necessary. Will go for a bath to rid myself of the stench of Three, settle down for a beer, and document the alternative exit route.

Prior to all this, I was so impressed with Three I got two friends to take out contracts based on my experiences. And I'd still recommend them, the same way I recommended NTL 5/6 years ago - the products and services are good, and fairly priced - but the customer service and care for their paying customers is pitiful.

It's best to make your complaints to the ombudsman separately. The claim that you are "choosing to use it so its an additional service" is laughable.

    Let's beat the the b*****ds.

Sounds interesting..... ;) I too am fighting to get out my contract due to this, they have told me they gave del reports as a free additional service, but I'm sorry free and additional service cannot be used in the same sentence based on their definition in t&c's, told them the only way this can happen would be to charge for them then apply a credit to make them free but no response to this yet.

I can't believe that they think their customers are thick enough to fall for their additional service jokes, absolutely pathetic.
