My friend wanted to go to hers but didn't know anyone to go with. So we made a plan. She thought I looked a bit like a quiet girl who she knew had moved to Scotland so I went with her. We made up a 'new' life story for this girl. Amazingly we managed the 'chat' all evening. I tried to say as little as possible (not easy), mainly tagged on to her. We stayed longer than planned and she had a good time and lots of laughs about it afterwards. My school hasn't had one - don't know that I'd go.
