  • Considering the cleaning and tidying you have done I'm sure that your house is nowhere near as bad as you think!

Bah to the neighbours but glad you had a good time at the party.

Have a good day, take it easy x

A NSD for me today, am actually doing quite well with this, the major trick is not taking my purse into work, as I really really wanted a hot dinner today but I'd deliberately left my purse in the car and I really wasn't going to walk the 5 minutes to go and get it, so no money spent. Managed to get my eyeliner from tesco in the end on the house account yesterday which was good, need things like deodorant and face wipes now, which I'm not sure can wait until I do another tesco shop, so might have to spend a couple of pound on them tomorrow :( it has almost become an obsession this no spending money lark!!!! I drove really well today too, and didn't use that much petrol which is always good, don't think it will quite last me to the end of the month, but it wont be bad. So thats all good, am pretty grumpy today though and tired, this pregnancy is really catching up with me, especially when I have had such a rubbish day at work, the children were right little pains in the necks today, really testing my patience!!!! Not good!

been asleep for a bit, have just made myself some dinner, emptied the dishwasher and tidied the kitchen, have put some veggies in the oven to make roasted vegetable soup, so just waiting for that to cook.

Am not eating nearly enough fruit or veg, which is very naughty of me, so I'm upping my income as of tomorrow, am going to pick some raspberries from the garden and have them with yoghurt and some cherries at break, going to have my veggie soup for lunch, will have an apple on the drive home, and.... could do with more than that, really need some bananas too, but I really cant be bothered to go to the shop, could stop on the way to work tomorrow I suppose, oooh have some peaches they would be ok too

just finished making my soup, and if I do say so myself it is yummy! Should do for all my lunches all week, and full of nice veggies, its really cheap and if I have something nice it makes me less likely to want to buy anything!

So just in case you want it, recipe for yummy roasted veggie soup:

unfortunately it is in my random amounts!

3/4 bag of frozen te$co value broccoli
3/4 bag of frozen te$co value cauliflour
2 small potatoes cut up into chunks
2 medium onions, skin of and cut in half
1 orange pepepr cut up and deseeded (or whatever you have going wrinkley in the fridge!)
3 garlic cloves, peeled and left whole.
    3/4 pint of milk (ish)
    3 stock cubes made up
    salt and pepper
    olive oil.

    preheat the oven at 180

put all of the veggies in a big rectangle tin, coat with olive oil and salt and pepper, then put in the oven, cook them until they turn dark brown, usually about an hour ish, good to do if you're cooking something else at the same time. Whilst cooking make up 2 of the stock cubes in water. When the veg is browned take it out and put it in a juicer, food processer whatever you use, add the milk and stock and whizz up (I have to do this in two lots as it makes about 5/6 days worth of soup.) Crumble the stock cube over the bottom of the empty tray and put a little water in it and stir it around the tin so you get all the tasty bits, then pour it into the soup and whizz up and there you have your lovely soup. if you have one of those hand held blenders, Id just pour all the stock and milk into the pan and whizz it up.

Hope that helps someone, ooooh babies behind bars is on, very controversial, good though

    Morning,

Have had a horrible dream that I couldnt look after my baby as I didnt know where anything was!!!! Was really upsetting,

I HATE dreams like that! OH had his stag last weekend and on the Friday night I had a dream he told me he cheated on me! I woke in an awful state!

I think it's the deepest fears in our subconscious coming to the surface, or also in your case your nesting instinct kicking in!

i know kerry, its rubbish, dreams can be so strange, I have never had stranger reams than since ive been pregnant. i really need to get organised, just seem to be too tired after work, so this weekend Im not going to make any plans, just spend the weekend cleaning and decluttering, might feel a bit better about everything then. Everything just seems a bit overwhelming at the moment, what with trying to make sure I eat properly and trying to buy all the things we need for the baby, and trying to watch what Im spending and trying to pay everything off and keep the house all clean..... it seems never ending

Long and all as your list is you left something out - RELAXING.

I know the nesting instinct is kicking in (big time in your case!) but I think you need to remember that everything doesn't have to be perfect. Sometimes "good enough" really is good enough. You have a little person growing inside of you! Frankly I think pregnant women are superheros for just getting out of bed!

Morning, have woken up early this morning so have got myself a nice cuppa. Am off to my dads for tea tonight then picking up some more baby stuff on the way home, the same lovely girl I got the Mamas and papas stuff from has got a load of other bits we need for not a lot as she moves tomorrow and doesnt want to put them on ebay, which is fab for us, am looking forward to picking them up. Think I've got another busy day at work today, I keep telling myself, only 3 weeks left, thats all I'm sure I can manage it!

Going to make a to do list for the weekend, it is definitely going to take me a little while as the house is a right mess!

Ok so am awake am very very tired though :(

Picked up the baby stuff last night and I'm so pleased! We got so much for such a small amount of money, really chuffed.

At my nans tonight, then ive got to drive and pick some ebay stuff up for OH.

Spent some money yesterday, along with having to get some more out of the house account, I took £60 out of the house account and ebay stuff came to £52, so I bought a couple of stamps, and two euromillions with the extra, but that still leaves me with £3 extra :) Have ordered 3 books for a tenner from the book people at school, two of which are presents, and have found £2 which came out of OH's jeans, so the books are really only costing me a fiver :) which is fine, still haven't spent any money on anything else, with all this running around, petrol is looking at bit rubbish though, think I'm going to have to put another £20/£30 in by the end of the month :( but I'm not going anywhere this weekend, I'm sorting which should help me out a bit.

Right need to drink my coffee, and think about getting up, but not yet :) going to nosey around the diaries.
