I know you're keeping the budget really tight but if clothes and what to wear is causing stress and upsetting you, you can sort this by buying some maternity clothes you like in the sales. Just one or two outfits so that you have something to wear if you need to go to any social events.

Will check back tomorrow and see how you are doing.

Glad @Hopeful is here:) cause most of Missy's MSE friends have never been pregnant and we're generally more useful for chatting about shoes :rotfl:

:rotfl:lol I'd love to be good at shoe chat so will have to learn some tips!

ooooh mags shoooooes oh how I miss my high heels :(

You need to embrace this new, but only temporary you! Mags is right re the outfits - think of old Gok and have a capsule wardrobe. My staples were leggings, black linen trousers, white 3/4 trousers and a couple of simple tunic tops / dresses so i could mix and match.

cant believe i have only just found your new diary and to find out your pregnant. congrats, so happy for you. I have never been really slim but i have put on some( a lot) of weight from having my 2 boys. the youngest is now 2 and i dont want to make the excuse that its from when i had my kids for the rest of my life. You will be fine, if you have gained a stone already, i doubt you will put much, if any more on. We all get bigger when having babies, but they are worth it. I hope you feel better about it soon.

You're pregnant Missy, you ment to put on weight. Though I can imagine how you're feeling. How about mixing leggings with oversized tops and belts? I see plenty of pregnant women around me and they all look so good in them! Also summer, floaty dresses might make feel you better as well!

arrrrggghhhh just typed a great big long post but lost it!!!!!!

Welcome mandz lovely to see you thanks for coming over :)

Kavics good thought on the leggings front, I always wear dresses and leggings or thick tights, which im really comfy in, its just the whole casual thing I struggled with!!

I was saying I wore my outfit i tried on last night to work, and lots of people said the whole "oooh dont you look big today!!" rather annoying, have a couple more non uniform days so am figuring out what to wear, think I hve it sussed. I weighed myself this morning, when I always used to weigh myself, and I hve only put on 10lbs not the stone as first thought!

spent some more money today, on some baby clothes in charity shop, £2.50 and £1.00 on some sweets for a friend, so thats an extra £3.50 today. Have added up what I have spent so far this month and it amounts to £27.00, will get a euro millions tomorrow, so I'll be left with about £20. But apart from that I shouldnt need to buy too much, could do with a white bra though, as I dont have a single one that fits!!! will go to primarni for that though and try my best not to buy anything else. Everything is going to plan though as I get paid 2 weeks today.

I am intending to spend my whole weekend ebaying and tidying in my pyjamas no less :) Really need to pull my finger out as we go to venice in 5 weeks and I really need to find some money from somewhere!!!

You're doing really well watching what you spend. Going to Venice is great motivation though :p I like the sound of a day in my PJs - good luck with the money making!!

Thanks hopeful, I just pray no one will knock on the door, the poor postlady has seen my in various states of undress!!!! I do love my pyjamas.

Need to do some washing over the weekend too.

You are my motivation for ebaying kavics, if I know you're doing it too I will have to pull my finger out and do it, and not spend my time on here or lounging in bed!! Have already been in there and cleared a little space to make it easier, think if I can muster the enthusiasm, I will sort some bits tomorrow after work, but that all depends on how much sleep I get, I've been awake since 3am this morning, for no apparant reason, have had a little nap since being home from work and I'm hoping I can have a lovely sleep tonight.

My postlady has seen me in various looks I'd never let any man in my life see:rotfl: I figure that like doctors they barely notice, they are just delighted someone's there to collect parcels, rather than bringing things back to the sorting office and writing non-delivery slips. City post people seem to change routes all the time anyway so I've never gotten to know any well enough to care how I look.

My mother who lives in the country and has had the same postman for years sometimes hides from him if she looks a mess :rotfl: like if she has hairdye on or is wearing shabby gardening clothes.
