It's a real shame that people only find this site after Googling the scam company Simply Electronics once they've been conned / scammed.......
We've all got to be sharp and whenever buying online from a company you're not familiar with and that offers too good to be true prices alarm bells should be ringing.
good luck in getting refunds from your banks/card holders.

Fraudsters and liars
bought a mobile s4 from them on 22ndjune 2013 till date not received it and get shady answers after sending endless enquiries.i have not even got my refund to date and no responses.they are simply crooks giving false impression of uk traders.but they are in hongkong.
I urge all sensible people not to buy from these crooks and also uk authorities to look into their misleading false tactics.
Consumers unless you want to loose moneydo not buy from these crooks0 -
i am also another victim of simplyelectronics. They are the most reliable and trustworthy company to take money out in a second from your card when you click buy button on their website. They are very fact in that sense but when you talk about delivery, it is the worst of the worst company. They makes and give you false impression that they are a genuine UK company but indeed it is just a impression. Its a company based on china and that is the reason its so cheap. I brought a dslr after months but i was so !!!!eed a asked for a delivery which i am still waiting. I am planning to go to solicitor and get my money back with a full compensation for so much stress they have given. It is the worst scan company you will ever find in the internet,0

The worrying thing is that this company is advertising on Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=simply+electronics&!!!!!googhydr-21&index=electronics&hvadid=34257802316&hvpos=1t2&hvexid=&hvnetw=s&hvrand=18757099301177669126&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=b&hvdev=c&ref=pd_sl_51up4o3u72_b)
Claiming to dispatch some goods from UK
They have decent customer reviews - but I think that most of these are false - have you noticed that none of them even mention SE - just, how brilliant the goods are......0 -
Ordered a tablet from them which was shown as "In stock".
After 2 weeks it was still shown as "Awaiting despatch". After another 2 weeks, still no despatch.
Cancelled my order and got it from Currys at the same price.
Now trying to get a refund but still getting more excuses.0 -
Advice is unchanged - section 75 claim (if £100 or more), or do a chargeback.0

They will continue in business until people stop ordering from them - they are a foreign company - so our laws have no jurisdiction over them......
The giveaway is the lack of any phone number (UK or otherwise)
Unless they've changed, the distribution is in the UK though. Surely there's some relevant law here?:idea:0
