As much as sometimes I think I wish I was buying, bills like that do make me happy to be renting :)

Sounds like a good plan of action for the bill - I would have freaked if that landed on my doorstep this morning though!

Just got an email from my agent - the new tenant is going to be paying me £100 per month more than the old one! After tax, fees etc I will only be about £70 better off but hey - better that than a smack in the face with a wet kipper.

So. Hope you all have lovely MSE weekends - I am starting with a glass of champers (in office = free) and then off to my gorgeous and beutiful BF who is the best cook in the world for some lovely home cooked grub - doubt I can make it an entirely no spend weekend but I will do my best...

  • £300 paid off to egg yesterday (part payment of money owed by daughter, together with additional £50 from current account) and £2.73 this morning (balance left from "spending" account last week).

Can't quite decide whether to make my budget weekly or daily - daily would get payments made quicker, but weekly makes more sense as some of my payments (such as the cleaner etc) would be more than my daily budget so I would therefore be borrowing ahead of time. Think I'll stick to weekly...

    Updating siggy now.

Busy week coming up so wont be around much - and if I am - tell me off!

    xx

  • Morning chaps

Been doing pretty well on the no spend days - have had my cereal for brekkiw every day this week, have brought lunch in from home past couple of days etc. Havent got lunch with me today though as was running little late this am, but to be honest I am not feeling 100% today so not that hungry anyway.

Over to BF's tonight to see what the ol' Lord Sugar get's his monkies to do - I love that show!!!!

No debt busting going on at present, got a few thigs on ebay but so far not much happening. It never ceases to amaze me how people will pay a fortune for tat but then decent items tend to sit and sit til the last minute...
