Have you even tried? You put more obstacles up than your GP from what you say.

Are you going to keep the baby after it's been born? You sound like you really don't want it :( Must be hard

no of course I haven't tried, I am only 15 and hadn't thought of it.

im not sure i understand this business about not getting registered elsewhere due to the needs of your children (expensive meds), a surgery cannot refuse to register you on that basis, what if you had just moved into the area?

in addition, the father of your little one has PR i assume, then he should have been able to register the child just as you had.

cant you get the local papers involved, this sounds worse than my gp surgery and i thought that was impossible

a surgery can refuse new patients on any grounds it likes.

We assumed he would be allowed to register her with him and it wouldn't be an issue but the board at his surgery refused unless I registered there too.. but they then refused to accept the 2 children that cost over £1000 a month in medication.

I have far more pressing issues to deal with than which surgery the baby was registered at.. she will barely go anyway so it won't make much difference. I can't remember the last time I took one of the children to the doc.

Thank you all so much I have an appointment tomorrow morning. I feel so bad I have let this happen but we couldnt cope with more children.

Hugs OP - it sounds as though you've already taken every possible step to prevent this happening.
    Take care

What pigpen experienced isnt that uncommon, i knew 2 women who's doctor refused to refer and the same doctor casually forgot to refer a few people too however doctors like this will never come to light as no woman really wants there face in a paper complaining against god, sorry i meant the doctor, holding the baby they wanted to abort.

A lot of women dont know how referals for a termination work, you must get 2 doctors to consent before the go ahead, if your own gp says no many still think they need to find 2 (however the second consent is usually is an automatic consent at the clinic/hospital after you've had your half hour interview and scan)

You can also self refer via your main hospitals obs/gynae unit

But pigpen is allergic to latex and has other allergies. I know that you can get latex free condoms but even then they might be covered in something else that she's allergic to.

Think the old "legs crossed" method would've been best in that case! ;)

Latex allergies are so common, its easy enough to source them without. My ex had a latex allergy, we managed!

The second consent it by no means automatic. The consultant can refuse. I have seen requests refused, often more than once. Many patients will try again through a different GP. Where there has already been a previous abortion there is a greater chance of the request being refused, particuarly for working adults in a relationship and no direct risk to health
