I am yet again using this user name as I don't want to ask this using my normal one.
I have just found out I am pregnant, I do not want another child, I am on the pill and my husband is booked in for a vasectomy in August.
I had an abortion at 15 and got it for free, I'm not sure if they are always free or if it was because on my age. Does anyone know the cost? We have very little money, one of the reasons for not having more children.

Go to your GP yes it is free but not always as swift as some would like (many feel emotionally it is easier to handle if done when the baby is less developed) so that can be a reason for going private."Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0

How awful for you. It is free. If you go to your GP they will refer you. Hope you'll be ok.0

no she was being difficult.. she had already refused contraception twice so knew I didn't want it and just flatly refused. My youngest was only 5.5 months old at the time too! life goes on.. and I am sually he exception to every rule in the book.. ;0)
she used to be a gynaecologist so I doubt she has issues with termination at any stage!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

They can not refuse you an abortion but they can refuse to be the one who refers you in which case they have to arrange for you to see a different GP who has no moral or religious objections to abortion."Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0
