NO...Cyclists don't ride on pavements or jump red lights at all.

I''m a poor driver of a car or a motorbike, but I do have a license for both, Ive seen poor roadcraft from all and sundry on the roads, the most annoying are girls driving & texting, as I'm pretty sure they shouldnt be on the road anyhow.
My main bug with cyclists is their habit of crawling out of their city [STRIKE]holes[/STRIKE] homes and invading the countryside in packs of thirty or more, riding two or three abreast on B roads creating a chain the size of a double decker bus that can be impossible to pass, happily chattering away to each other with no concern for other road users.

Everyday I ride on and over the pavement, through red traffic lights, under subways, through pedestrian precincts and the wrong way down one way streets.

It's the safest way to avoid old people in Toyotas and Rovers, boys in Corsas, dodgy Polish registered cars, sexually frustrated retired men who crown green bowl and Dominos pizza drivers.

Please don't get angry, there are far more important things going on in the world you just need a sense of balance.....it useful for cycling.

Your supposed to give cyclists as much room as a car when overtaking, so riding 3 abreast (for as annoying as it may seem) is actually making the "chain" or overtaking distance smaller.

If there's a line of 20 of them, you can't just hop round 3 cyclists and then cut into the kerb can you?

Unfortunately this raises another issue, too many drivers have reduced brain capacity, leaving them unable to think about the technicalities of a situation.

    Example:
When a cyclist rides in the centre of the lane, they're doing it to stop you overtaking where doing so would put them in danger. It's called "taking the primary position" in cyclecraft.

But most drivers just do their nut and start shouting idiotic comments like "GET SOME F*CKING ROAD TAX" even though they couldn't possibly overtake anyway.
“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

My main bug with motorists is their habit of crawling out of their festering holes and clogging up the towns and cities with miles of traffic and causing hideous pollution and noise, while looking miserable as they listen to their radios, all alone.

They really get in my way when I'm trying to cycle to the swimming pool.

I totally agree with you, thats why I tend to walk everywhere if I can and visit cities out of necessity only. Why dont you move to the countryside ?

I do live in the countryside, but the amenities tend to be in cities/towns.
