Just random and starting with the cheque payments, presumably because they take longer to clear:
@Pearcesport James Pearce last night on BBC 5Live:
London 2012 have admitted to my colleague @jonmanel that only cheques and postal orders have been cashed so far. NO card payments taken yet

Good luck everyone!!:o)))
I hope it's not by surname! The curse of being at the end of the alphabet...0 -
We are 'S' so if it is done via surname then we will be towards thgen end too!!!
Didn't know if they processed the applications that have been awarded tickets in any particular order! By the above post it sahould be from next week then as we paid by card! Fingers crossed!!:D0 -
Seems odd, they are going to cash someone's cheque for the full amount, even though they may have only got a fraction of what they asked for? I am assuming that these people will be getting a cheque back immediately for the difference!

Nothing from my account yet and nor from anyone else I know0

Does anyone know what would happen if you didn't have enough money in your account for the tickets?
The money will mostly be taken by using a debit or credit card. Normally if there isn't enough money in the account then simply the transaction will be declined. However, I've read in this case the money will be taken out and the account will go into the red.0 -
hope they take my money quick,as just got new debit card
old one runs out at end of month0 -
Yes, this is another problem with the system. I've applied for £900 worth of tickets. Would be happy if that figured halved. According to the forum nobody has been debited as of yet.0

I don't want/intend to worry you but I'm sure I read that the debit card used must still be valid by the end of August. Mine expires at the end of July and had to use my wifes. Can anyone confirm this?
If this is the case, it may be worth trying to get hold of them and explaining the situtaion and can you change the debit card details before its too late.
Edit - Ignore that, it was August but has been changed to May

Buy direct.
I have a friend who lives abroad and according to their official site there are still tickets available for the the top events.
Hmmm get my mate to buy for me and send across to me, none of this lottery nonsense.
:p I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
Seek legal help if unsure.
Dont pay Private Parking tickets - they are mere invoices.
