    Morning everyone :j

I haven't posted in a while, but I've been busy decluttering for our hoped-for move. I've lost count of how many bags and boxes have made their way to the charity shops and tip over the last month, but it's at least 4-5 car-fulls! So why on earth does the house still feel so full of 'stuff'?!

I also have most of those niggly DIY jobs done, just a door to shorten and re-hang and a bit of rough plaster to sand and paint. So now it's time to get back on with deep cleaning everywhere and sprucing up the garden a bit!

I won't be doing the kitchen today with you all, but I'll be tackling the bathroom later. First though I need to haul the sewing machine downstairs and finish up shortening these curtains. :j

Mamaninie, your cake is absolutely lovely!

Go woken at 9am by the gas/electric man. :( Not happy as I had a really bad headache and was fast asleep. Anyhow, headache almost gone now and just finishing my cuppa in bed ( my OH :kisses3:) before venturing downstairs to make a start on the kitchen. Blinds will take ages as I have been ignoring them for a while, trying to work out the best way to tackle them. They are fluffy but also greasy so a normal blind cleaner doesn't do the job. Should I take them down and do with soapy water?

Medicine cabinet could also take a while as OH has filled half the kitchen cupboard with stuff....plus we have a medicine cabinet in the bathroom and I have a drawer full next to my bed! Maybe we need a new, bigger cabinet? :p

Other than that the rest should be fairly easy....hahahahaha. :rotfl:

PigPen...Did you see my message at the end of the other thread?

    LL...Hope the move goes well.

Sam...As the group is church based can someone there get involved? Hope you get it sorted.

Mamaninie....Fab Cake. Wish you had done mine. Ex s-i-l took it upon herself to sort mine and I hated it.

Hope all have a good cleaning, decluttering day, sending spoons and hugs to those in need.

I'm back again, had a really busy weekend and don't know whether I'm coming or going at the moment! I'm just hoping I don't get a phone call from school atm as DS1 headbutted the pavement as he got to school having tripped over his own feet!

Or less stuff you don't use or fewer boxes of the stuff you do!

i have read it now... I use the recipe as it is.. it was fine!

toots.. the house was still standing when we got back.. but it looks like several bombs were dropped in it.. he kitchen is vile and they trashed the front room too :(

OH gone for milk, sausage rolls and post a parcel for me.. my strop is phenomenal today!

    Squeaks washing in.. also gross!
Recycling out.. i can now see the hideous nature of the worksurfaces..

Baby needs to be in bed!
