Good morning :) DH is back today :j I haven't had a txt to say he has left yet, so not sure what time (4-5 hour drive)

So far I have emptied DW, fed dog, written out cheque for music lessons, dispatched kids to school, breakfast & checked credit card to see if debited for olympic tickets (not yet :(). Little Miss Sunshine has arrived so I need to play now :j

One of the fish I bought on Saturday is floating belly up in the tank :( so I need to call the shop to see if they can replace it.

Spoons & hugs to those that need it, esp Sammiell, Lady L, Toots & Pigpen

    Mumof2 how are you doing?

I'm OK thanks - he left at 8.10 this morning; the flight is at just past 3 this afternoon. We'll stay in touch via Skype but as there's a 7 hour time difference will have to work out the times before calling! The kids were good; we'd prepared them for this quite a while back and they both spent some quality time with them on their own yesterday so had some nice 'Daddy time'.

Lady L, I hope the move goes really smoothly for you and you can rest up. Sending you huge ginormous spoons xx

Sam, well done on calling Childline; that's what I'd have done too. Horrible situation to be in.

    Here's my lists:
Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining room
    Sweep and mop floor

    My jobs for today
Menu plan and finish shopping list
    Get vegs from greengrocers
    Make bread tonight
    WM - darks

    Dailies:
    Washing (load/unload/hang up/put away) [STRIKE]M[/STRIKE] T W T F S S

    Let out and clean out chooks [STRIKE]M[/STRIKE] T W T F S S
    Walk Pip M T W T F S S

    My Toots list:
    1. Fill out form for S leaving nursery and starting school - do when J gets back from USA
    2. Take clothes to charity shop on way – maybe on the way back from Maths course next Weds (18.5)?
    3. Wash all skiing stuff (coats/salopettes etc) and put away
    4. Start going through the pile of woollen jumpers that need to be washed - do a few each week. Now 4 to do instead of 6.
    5. Sort out things in attic and sell what I can or pass to charity etc
    6. See if there's any more outgrown toys I can pass on to nursery/charity shop
    7. Keep knitting my jacket - I'd like to wear it this autumn time rather than next year!

I'm in, lurking a little but in.

Piggers we had our gutters done, can pass you details on if you'd like...we're awaiting a real downpour to see if its fixed the leaking (and about to fall down at any moment) bathroom ceiling. So far so good with the weekend rain.

He did the back of the house, in wood and replaced a missing piece of guttering.

Have you thought of ringing childline for advice, or a similar organisation?

DD would have to ring childline, they don't talk to the parents.

Keep on at them.. over 10 the other children can be prosecuted!

    Well the saga continues!!

Out of 17 people called we had 5 replies.
1 said to ring someone who had been out and never bothered sending a quote
1 said they no longer do 'that sort of work'
3 came out and gave quotes.. 2 were the same, 1 was extortionate.
1 of them was supposed to be coming Thursday 19th.. and rang this morning saying he can't come until.. 2nd June!!!!!!!!!!!

I am SO f***ed off with this.. is it too much to actually want to have the girls sleeping in a room that isn't going tomake them ill!!!!!!!
