Right i need help im stuck i dont know what to do or where to go DD went to youth group at church on friday and surprise surprise the girls who are picking on her were there plus another to make there numbers up they were whispering about her and making snidey comments all night she came out and DH was there to meet her and she burst into tears as her two friends hadnt spoken to her aswell shes been friends with them from being one so Dh rang me to ring ones mum while he waited for the other while he was talking to her this girl walked up to Dh friend and the other boy and his dad as was clearly listening in to find out what was being said and was typing into the phone and showing Dds friend at this Dd lost his temper and asked this girl what she was doing and if she was picking on DD he shouted at her and said she was Pi$$ing poison DDfriends mum ushered him into the car and dd friends dad ushered the girls to his car he helps to run things and does a run home for those needing it where can we go from here what can we do im at the end of my teather samxxxxx

sam awh honey I am sorry to hear about the latest incident - DH needs to be careful though - if these girls are as nasty as they sound they could get him into real trouble for having a go at them - not sure what I can elp with as I have no children - hope the others can come up with useful suggestions - I am thinking of you and yours and hope it can be sorted (((hugs))) What about asking for a policeman to come and have a chat to see if there is anything that you can do - there should be some kind of community bobby?

Sam first big hugs for you all it sounds such a dreadful situation. I have no experience to offer and I know you have been into school. Have you thought of ringing childline for advice, or a similar organisation?

Lady-L - Hugs. Sending you a bag of spoons and all good wishes for a smooth move. I hope you have RL friends helping you and that you can rejoin your friends here soon.
sammiell - wish I could offer more than a hug, but I agree with toots - I understand why he reacted, but your OH needs to be very careful.

  • Hi all,

    May I join you?

I'm new to this but am just back from some time in the UK and feeling super motivated to sort out my flat. I'm going to start by attempting the level ones this week and see how it goes. I have a big list of extras too that I may put on here for some motivation (I like to see thinks ticked off!).

I won't do anything until evenings when I'm home from work but am going to try to get things in order.

I'm in - hope to be feeling more energetic soon!

Gonna take a couple more days off work to make sure I can cope when I go back......

L-L - good to see you posting. Fingers crossed for your move - spoons being dispatched your way!

sammiell - sounds horrible - how are things at school now?

Does the youth group leader know the history of what has happened? If not he needs to pdq!

I've been through horrible stuff with DD1 - she didn't want me to talk to the secondary school about it - but I wish I had done!

It had started just before the end of primary school and the head had just brushed it under the carpet.

I moved DS to a different cub pack cos of bullying. I told the new leader when we arrived and he was fantastic - DS got an extra 18 months of cub experience that he really enjoyed - and this was in a pack where he knew virtually no-one!

pm me if you need to!
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
