Oooops - I just close my eyes for a few moments (like several hours) and look what happens! A shiny new Fred!
I shall try and get somewhere with the GP tomorrow.
In the meantime, I did do some useful stuff over Saturday, as I now have a nice long mirror hanging up in the hallway bouncing light around (especially since I cleaned it) and giving us no excuse to go out looking like we've been dragged through the compost heap backwards (£8), polished the glass shelving unit by the front door (whole carrier bag of gibble removed and binned) and I have planted up a hanging basket and lots and lots of veggies.
As all I have to do in the kitchen is the floor and a quick S&S, I might try and refresh the planters out the front tomorrow, as two have been looking quite sad.
Anyway, I'm going to have some tea and plan my onslaught again...

I have thanksI did see your post on the last fred a couple of hours ago, thanks so much for the offer :A Fortunately (as it turns out now!) I waited until yesterday afternoon before I booked them, I must have guessed my postie friend would ask me to book one for him as well! He does not always go but this year he has decided to.

I'm going to try posting daily, but will have to see how the week goes. Thanks to pigpen, toots and asbo for keeping the thread going. DH is playing bowls on three days, I need to keep an eye on DS1 and form tutor reports are due. I really hope I've only got one observation this week - it would give me a bit of breathing space. Provided the first one goes well.
On that note, I'd best get on with things.
Dinner stuff is just about cleared away and I'm going to get comfy, grab another cuppa and get started. Have a good week, everyone

At least 6 have.. not sure about the other 3 yet..
I might not have survived.. I am starved.. about to eat 5 of the cats!
Squeak was very well behaved for her babysitters and slept through the dog woffeting and the phone ringing.. then woke at 3:30am to silence!... though I discovered Dot likes to do a happy dance about then so I didn't object to her waking for long..
I have also been being spied on.. judging by the paths of some conversations and some questions.. but if I can't offload here they'll have to face the wrath of my stroppiness so it is possibly best if they stop reading my rants... esp. as by the time I have finished typing I usually feel much better, if a little juvenile.. but still.. better out than in! Better than me building resentment and disliking them, I don't want to dislike them and I would never want OH to feel he had to choose between me and his family. I also know I am not good enough for a number of reasons (kh, children, the babies, age difference, lack of finances etc) which as a mum I can understand.. but OH likes me and surely that is what is important.. that he is happy.. which he seems to be.
Hopefully they will see one day that I don't want him for anything other than being himself.. yes he is a PITA on occasion, who isn't, and I know my insecurities cause as many issues as his but most of the time I wouldn't swap him.
