Red wine stain help!

    Just dye them another colour using dyl0n in wash stuff. They will never be as white as they were anyway and at least if you dye them, you can still wear them.

    No Fruball, neither can I believe I spilled wine lol.:( but hey!
    good idea to dye them they were old and past their best anyway but I like them.
  • Try ace bleach as its amazing fir red wine. My hubby best mate dropped a third of a bottle on himself and it took it all out with one wash. Our local 99p shop sells it x

    I had a red wine spill yesterday, some went on a light coloured carpet and some on a chair seat.

    I started with water while they were wet, and left salt on them overnight.

    The carpet seems OK today, but the chair was still marked, so I tried white wine (slight further improvement) and then a paste of baking soda.

    To be honest, it now looks a bit worse, as the stains have turned blue. I have tried further washing with soap and water; are the blue stains likely to fade as they dry, or do I need to apply anything else? Bleach is out, as the seat cover is red and white striped.
