    Hi Y'all,

Wet and chilly here is the Emids, so of course today is the day they decided to turn off the heating in church. LOL I slipped my coat back on after the Anthem!

    Lunch today is:
Local Butcher's Apple and pork sausages
    Roast potatoes and parsnips
    Broccoli, carrots, sweetcorn
    Yorkshire puddings
    Gravy
Home made syrup sponge & custard

This afternoon, I plan to dig up the hebe that didn't make it through the winter and replace with a tray of marigolds I got from the church plant stall yesterday. The garden looks great after a drop of rain, my bluebells, whitebells and winter pansies are still looking lovely. After that, I'm gonna veg out with the cats and watch Castle on ABC with a pint before church again then off to an organ recital in a nearby village.

NoahsPennilessMummy, I work with students just like your son and also PMLD students, so I know what you are experiencing. I hope you are getting all the help necessary. Correct and early diagnosis is absolutely key to starting effective self-behaviour strategies. With commitment fantastic progress can be made - I'm thinking of you.

Enjoy your day, one and all.

    Afternoon all,

Didn't manage to read or post yesterday so ((hugs)) were needed.
NPM I also posted my notice, I did feel guilty and still do but its the best thing I've done, just put yourself and your family first
JackieO we also have to pick up my son from Stanstead in a couple of weeks but its a fair trip from Manchester. Need to find somewhere good and reasonable to have tea as he lands at 9.30 in the evening and we will have to set off mid afternoon, sooo excited can't wait:j:j:j
FB we also had a bit of a ESC party. I spent the whole day cooking and cleaning so it was really nice to let my hair down, but feeling a bit delicate this morning. I made sticky ribs, pork meatball curry with spicy wedges and rice and bakewell tart and brownies for dessert.

I won't be doing any cooking today, just having a lazy day and will probably eat leftovers.

Tomorrow will be spent getting ready for my interview on Tuesday, so trying on my outfit and making sure I have made some notes.

Anyway off to lounge and catch up with Eastenders, have a peaceful Sunday all J x

    Afternoon All

Just a quickie from me, to say hi and send (((hugs))) to those who need them especially NPM. Go and see the Dr and see his response, yes you can post your notice, but I would at the time of posting ring your Manager (or the one you get on best with) and tell them that you have put your notice in the post, you have said above that you need to finish for Noah, and I am sure they are aware that you are struggling, and will understand this. If your home life is smooth then you can handle the pressures at work, but when both are stressful, then you cannot. Noah I know will always come first with you. I agree that you need to respite from Noah, either more time with his Dad or some other way, but you being ill is not good to Noah either. Look after yourself.

Good Luck to all with exams starting.

Had a good night last night, if I can find a complimentary piccy of me then will post it later on FB.

Still wishing the wind would drop!!!

Hello everybody - not read through the thread....TBQH didn't have chilli last night as I went downhill fast. Still in bed and feel totally drained, it's an effort to move I'm that tired.....Feel really achey and sore as well - like I've done a few rounds with Mike Tyson LOL! Done some reading and it's "withdrawal" from the IVF meds, not had it this bad before......mind you I was on a huge dose this time. So I should imagine dinner today will be pie from the freezer with mash and veg as OH will be doing it. I'll get extra mash made so I can do shepherd's pie tomorrow with the mince.....OH is meant to be nipping to B&Q to get some more tiles for the kitchen and hanging the gate....apart from that my instructions are to rest and feel better....so I'm off for a sleep.....At least the back has stopped hurting as much....Have nice OS day everyone....
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

NPM - I wouldn't feel guilty about posting my notice in whilst off sick - I think being a Mum has really made me have the view point that I need to look after no.1 because otherwise I'm no use to anyone.

    Flutterbuy - hope the head's better - must say I wouldn't mind a toy boy ;)

Well a very productive day so far today :j I went to church this morning and had a lovely chat with a couple of very helpful people about up coming projects :D:cool: Then came home and set the kids to work - DD1 hoovered and DD2 dusted and cleaned the bathroom. Whilst they were doing this, I strimmered the back part of the garden (no way the lawn mower was getting over it ) and then planted out the strawberry and tomato plants and the chives and parsley - hope it all takes ... have watered it all and will do again later on. There was me saying ealier on that I think I'll have a quiet one :rotfl:

Roast's in oven - still gotta do the veg. I've found a lady locally who does mixed fruit/veg boxes for a tenner so am getting 2 of those a week and just buying meat/fish and essentials on top

My brain is on overdrive at the mo ... so much whizzing round it and I have to make myself stop and relax otherwise I know I'll get too stressed again and go pop :o

Hope everyone is having lovely Sunday x
