Morning all,
Late one from me, I had a nice lay in, then read my book in bed for an hour
, all behind now though, wm is on with our bedding in, will do dd's after.
DD has 2 exams tomorrow, so she will spend the day studying, solid exams for the next 2 weeks, she had a friend over last night to go to the party with her and she is a sit sullen
, not sure I like this one, they were being collected by dd's dad at 6, and friend turned up at five to, wolfed her dinner down, borrowed one of dd's jackets, and off they went, I shall be glad once she's gone home
I think I will do meatballs for dinner, will have our roast tomorrow, so nice and quick, need to hoover through and have a tidy.
Might go to the afternoon bootie, to have a look for things to fill my dresser.
N9eav, nice to see you posting
BB have fun at the party x
Have good days all xx0 -
Morning all ,
Just skidding in to say hello!
NPM - hugs chick, that sounds tough and don't worry about handing in your notice while you're off sick. It's about what's best for you and Noah not what's best for your work xxx
N9eav - welcome back!
Bitsy - enjoy your day out - looks lovely there
OS for me today will include cooking roast chicken with all the trimmings except someone else will have to manage the stuffing as it still makes me sick - weird, most of my pre-pregnancy tastes are coming back now, but stuffing makes me _pale_ still.
Have a lovely day all, OS or otherwise xxSometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,

Morning everyone
Just back from night out/night in - got washing machine on the go, dishwasher emptied and am now about to sit down and watch Dr Who from last night :j:j
We didn't quite manage to avoid ESC as it was on in the background, although I really enjoyed the new scoring system.
Right, socks off, feet up and here I go into the land of Dr Who. I may be some time.
Food??? don't know yet but it will come to me if the Dr survives this episode!
Good wishes to all.0 -
Morning All
Great to see you back N9eav have missed you x
Anyone heard from halight / I know he wasn't feeling too good last time he posted so I hope he is alright.
Grey here today, we had torrential rain last night for about an hour. Garden is loving it
NPM....... You really need some respite care for DS ...If you are poorly can't you ask your social worker for help? ((((((((Hugs)))))))
Thoroughly enjoyed Doctor Who last night and next week's looks sooo creepy.
Thor was real comic book escapism and DH, DS and I really enjoyed it.
I was drooling over Chris Hemsworth, what a body  phew I've gone all wobbly :rotfl:
We took our own sweets and drinks to avoid the extortionate prices at the cinema so we saved a packet there
so we had a good night out for £25 and I still have £25 left from the £50 I found yesterday that will pay for this week's shopping :j
DS has his first A level tomorrow Maths
Have a good day everyone xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Morning all!! Kitchen has been tidied, WM is on cycle one of i guess about 3 today.
I've gone on my exercise bike for ten mins. Need to get OH to look at it, as can't get the tension to ease up on it. He's currently in bed sleeping off a night out with the lads, not sure if/when he will surface!
Plan to do another 20 mins on the bike and take the dog out for a walk, need to change the bedding, hoover and get lunches planned for the week then hopefully get some time to read my book and maybe watch a movie.
Meal planning needs to be done too!!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Morning everybody,
Hope everyone is well, and positive thoughts for those who arent, especially NPM. I understand where you are coming from about doing stuff when you're off sick,I used to feel the same about being seen out and about, even if I happened to be going to the docs
.You are a conscientious person so you feel guilty, but your health is important too.I would post your resignation in,and have a word with your doc.(((Hugs)))
N9eav - glad all is well with you, nice to 'see' you.
Not much on the agenda today really,DH is working too hard and needs a rest. Its hard for him having had DS2 off sick for 3 months
.I am cooking a turkey for tea
,not very seasonal I know, but I bought it off the market yesterday,a whopper for a tenner, will keep us going for ages :rotfl:and it has turned cold again, even lit the woodburner last night. We had m&s 2 dine £10 last night, cheaper than a takeaway,we has mushroom & stilton risotto-very nice too.
Bitsy,- enjoy your picnic, the gardens look lovely.
Have a nice relaxing Sunday x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Morning all
Quite cold here, house is freezing as we've had a few days of cool, grey weather, so I've succumbed to putting on the heating!
 Just for a couple of hours until our noses defrost!
Really feel for the poorlies & those with big problems - can't offer anything but some love & hugs & hope you get to the light at the end of your tunnels! xo
