Still goes to show that people recognise the power of bad feedback. Maybe their sales dropped noticeably since the incident?
it does happen a fair bit.
once i ordered a t-shirt off zavvi (or an associated company). it never arrived. CS were bad; so, i left negative feedback. within a couple of days i get an email off them to say 'sorry' and they would refund my original purchase amount
additionally, they offered me a further £10 if i removed my negative feedback.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

Curiosity got the better of me and I dialled the number to see who it was and spoke to some sort of sales rep flogging me free advertising space ... so I TOOK IT!! lol :rotfl:
Would have rather got a £3 refund though ... that may have been the first call then! lol
I can understand why they do it .. When my Ebay ratings went down it affected EVERYTHING and they even ''held my money'' for 30 days and would not release the payment until I received Feedback and only took the hold off when my Feedback went right back up again
So it probably IS affecting his business ... Ah .. the joys of selling - I hate it!!!! lol
( I don't sell on Ebay any more ... Just SPEND my pittance of a money on MSE bargains now - For myself and family of course! ) xx
Anyway - His feedback goes back up = new customers and making a living again ... But its a pretty big pharmacy company , no? .. Either way it makes sense to give refunds to get the feedback removed0 -
BTW I'm sure its not my imagination but the majority of people who ordered the bars DID expect to receive them - That is why they kicked up a stink on the feedback section of the seller..
Now that must make us all THICK for thinking it was a genuine bargain ... Whereas you are the only clever one!lol
Cazzap06 - how have you read my comment? Completely wrongly! I agree with you. I expected to receive the bars at the price quoted. I gave the feedback website address earlier as I thought they were in the wrong.
I did not know how people were to know it was a wrong price.
Going to lie down now....0 -

I am SO sorry libertysurf - I did indeed get your post all WRONG - Did not realise it was in reply to someone elses comment actually DEFENDING us for thinking we WOULD actually get them for the price stated...
I think we both need a cereal bar now!
Please accept my apologies for reading your post wrong and for being defensive! xxx0 -

......strange way of going about things - received a phone call from a chap offering me £3 to remove the feedback. In order to receive the £3, I have to email them requesting it - after I have removed the negative feedback.
He didn't seem to understand why I had left the negative feedback in the first place. ie My amazon page showed item dispatched and payment had been taken from my account. No email letting me know that it had subsequently been cancelled.
Better communication in the first place would have avoided the fiasco.
I have no idea if £3 will be honoured if I do change the negative feedback...........:question:Chum0 -

I removed the feedback whilst I was on the phone to him and he 'refunded' me £3 immediately - I saw it appear on my Amazon account.
I did wonder whether it was some kind of scam but thought 'I'm at work behind our firewall, it can't be any kind of keylogging scam'.¿Alguien ha visto a mi nave espacial?
Biting is excellent. It's like kissing, only there's a winner.0
