Hi Shez,
Have a look at Wanty's post here........looks like she and kelink have been very busy! Don't think there's much festive you can do with my pink-winged stick instect though.
Roz_V Well done on getting it finished. Are you not completely shattered? If I was you I'd just want to crawl under the duvet!

That made me laugh...
If you'd said "boxes" instead of "ironing" I'd have asked what the heck you were doing in my flat :rotfl:
Congratulations on getting the essay finished :TOperation Get in Shape

HI Everyone,
What horrible weather we seem to be having today! Have had a bargin shopping day today. Went into New Look and got my DS (3yrs) two tops, and a jeans and top set reduced to £8. Then managed to get 20% off with my new Look card, so only £6 in all. Will clear the balance as soon as bill comes through. Also bought some books, for 30p each for DS as stocking fillers.
Hugs to all peeps who need them, and be careful you don't get blown over in this windy weather.:D
Must go, as no rest for the wicked (as I'm told!)

I did start reading the daily thread from the start several hours ago but got side tracked. It's so long so I've decided to 'control' myself by only reading what is 'page 2' to me IYKWIM.
SO Hi everyone, especially everyone who's posted on page 1 - hope you'll forgive me!
Anniestar - be warned, this thread is very motivating, and inspiring but also VERY addictive ;-). It's full of lovely lovely people so I hope you enjoy!
Elona - Hi! R.E. re-pegging the washing, tell him to count his belssings - if it were me I'd make him re-do it until he got it right. Another thing I'm particular about (now do bear in mind that my house allways looks like I'm waiting for Kim & Aggie to arrive for a clean up) is folding towels. SO much so my colleague in college (I'm doing holistic therapies) is convinced I'm insane as I can't help but re fold all the towels until they're neat - even though she can see nothing wrong with them!)
I should really be tackling the old housework but sick of doing it every Thrusday Friday and w/e and it still being a pigsty in the week. It is gradually getting better, but doing the housework means getting behind with the coursework - not good!
Instead I've spent the morning facing my other deamons - finances (YIKES!). I think I may have finally found a solution - if anyone is interested the details are on the DFW board under my old SOA post.
Other than that I've spent hours 'tidying' the pc (ie working out how to save some files I don't currently need onto a disk to save space).
oh, and undoing the weight loss I've achieved and making me one stocking filler short all in one go (ie eating the entire tube of mini dairy milks,:EasterBun lol) At least I don't need lunch now - in fact I feel quite _pale_
See how miserable I get when I don't get to spend enough time chatting with you lot!
Missing you all loads,

EEK!
Kaz - I fold towels too and have been known to "mutter to myself" when the towels in the airing cupboard are not folded right or put in the wrong place.
If large towels are put on top of small towels - they fall off and hit me on the head!!!!!
My place looks like Kim and Aggie's nightmare too. But most of it is superficial if you know what i mean - the bathroom and kitchen do get cleaned - just not several times a day!;)"This site is addictive!"

Kaz,
Good to see you back. I too have raided the stocking fillers. dd's Macadamia smoothies are now history. They are the most yummy chocs around.

Lol, it's so good to be amongst like minded people again Elona and Snoozer. I do sneak a peak at the daily thread from time to time, but by the time I log on there's usually 100 + posts, and you know how hard I find it to not say helo to everyone!
Normally by now on my day off I've done most of the tidying and had a rest for half hour - today I've done none of it! Who cares - it'd need doing again tomorrow anyhow. It's my Christmas pressie to me - a day on my franny surfing my favourite website ;-)January '06 Grocery Challenge (4th - 31st) £320.Week 1 - £73.99 Week 2 £5.10 (so far)

Hi Shez! Yes, I've had my fourth star for a while, you get it at 2,000 posts
As for Christmas, I think I'll try to get my cards done this weekend (I've got enough left from last year to do all the ones that need to go in the post), and I've got a full set of tree decorations too, although I have NO idea where I will put the tree - space is limited now the sofas are in, and it would be nice to have it somewhere so the twinkly lights are visible from the flats opposite
I want a real one, it just doesn't smell like Christmas without one!
I have NO ceiling/window decorations but then again I don't always bother with them, as long as the tree is sorted!
Now, a non-OS-related housework question:
Who sells rubber gloves that aren't yellow? NOTHING in my flat is yellow and I am certain you can get pink ones...Operation Get in Shape
