i've read some of these threads and i think the whole point of this one is to try and rectify the situation, which i for on am all for as i need some mortgage advice but have been too afraid to ask, in case everyone started shouting again."Don't go where the path may lead,go where there is no path and leave a trail"Anthony Robbins0

If you read the threads as I do, it always comes down to kenshaz stirring it. Some others may be to polite to say, but I'm not one to beat around the bush.
Of course he has the right to input, and I'm all for free speach, but he doesn't actually input anything, just lazily posting the same old links to the guides and L&C which anyone can read for themselves (the links are pretty obvious afterall). It gets up my nose when I spend a good 15 minutes trying to help someone with a reasoned post just to be denegrated by kenshaz.
Sums it up perfectly.0 -
sured - everyone is welcome. i felt like that once too becuase I'm not a broker, but again it is a chat forum so everyone can post - as I stated before, regardless of position, status, age, gender ect I could be called "joe public" - but work in financial industry.
I have seen some posts about this - but do not take everything on here as 100% true - it is a forum of opinions.
however, no advice is given here as such, more so factual0 -

That's exactly what we want to do sured.
There are plenty of brokers here (at the moment) who are perfectly willing to answer any question you may have however silly or daft you might think it to be.
I have not seen any broker post in an unhelpful or rude manner and all you lucky moneysavers have the input of industry professionals for nothing, zilch, zip. As I said before, most posters are extremely gratefull for this input but when one particular poster is constantly demeaning what we do then I think we should get it out in the open.0 -

Looking down the first couple of pages of this board it seems that very few question threads are being looked at let alone answered and that is a great shame.0 -

Hi ken
So, I am a broker and you would take my advice with a pinch of salt ?
Let me get this right. This board is all about mortgages, yes ?
I am a mortgage broker.
People who don't know alot about mortgages come here to get advice on mortgages, yes ?
Now, who do you think would have the most knowledge to inpart about the said mortgages that people come here to ask questions about ? Builders, carpenters or mortgage brokers ? It's not a difficult question is it.
As for "without bias". What the hell do I care about bias ? I have no links, nobody can contact me, I have quite enough work to be going on with thankyou very much, so I just tell it as it is and try and help people.
You do none of the above.0 -
This thread is becoming negative again. Lets not tread old ground. this is about moving forward. A mutual understanding has been achieved with Kenshaz, time will tell if it works, but as things stand now. let it go. (that is not aimed at anyone in particular). Lets just move on.
I have, and I feel much better for it.I am a Mortgage Adviser
