HI Mizmir...well you've baffled me with that matched betting thingy...will look into that when my heads in the right place...lol
Cars....know the feeling on that but claim mine as business expenses but it's still a pain to pay out...have changed my garage from today (was using dealership)..but now using local ambulance station...you don't see many broken down ambulances!!!
You're doing really well and seem really motivated...keep it up girl!!!

    Hello Mizmir :)

£800 - ouch! I know nothing about cars or matched betting for that matter  so can't judge whether that's good or bad! Hope it gets paid off very quickly anyway :)

Keep the positiveness going - it helps so much!!!

OK folks - need another kick to get going tonight. Have been browsing stuff for several hours - there is work to be done and it won't do itself! I really do have to get a grip on how much time I spend here .

So if you see me on the boards before 10pm - tell me to get away and do some work! :rotfl::rotfl:

Well I stayed away for a couple of hours - managed to clean the kitchen and do some marking (I teach) so it was worth it. Need to do it more though!

Realised that OH has gone off on work trip with all the cash after emptying my purse (with my permission!) and bank account is teetering on the edge of the overdraft limit so am left with no cash at all until I get some for dog training at the weekend. Should help with Moozie's challenge! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Have enough food to last - and probably just about enough fuel in the car. Can take food into work and have too much to do to go out - so I should be OK! Can always raid the 20p savings jar if I'm desperate. So here's to another 3 no spend days.

Well it's been a few days since I posted on here so to catch up - good and bad DFW things about this week:

    Good:
    1. Have made £35 profit on matched betting in a few days and have £38 of free bets waiting to be played through and withdrawn and another £35 waiting to come into my account. Will hopefully have made over £100 by Saturday.
    2. Made £15.45 profit on eBay
    3. Have £7.80 in pigsback (without buying anything) and am expecting 6000 points for the pet insurance I took out from M&S)
    4. Have £21.78 pending in quidco and another £31 expected as cash back from matched betting
    5. Have made £35 dog training and will get another £60 or so over the next couple of days
    6. Have completed one week of the DFW flylady challenge and managed to stick to it! On to week 2 (highly recommended)
    7. Am on target for my Gold Olympic Challenge (2 weeks down, 24 to go!)
    8. Have come in under budget by over £15 on Moozie's challenge!
    9. Have a new more accurate budget ready for pay day next week and have set up separate savings accounts for my long term budgets - christmas, cars, kennelling, tax etc so we won't be caught out again.
    10. Have done some extra work for work for £150 (to come) and OH has also done some extras for about the same.
    11. Have insured all the dogs so that we are safe from the worry of unexpected vet bills.
WOW! Writing it all down is a real boost. :j:j:j

So now on to the bad:
    1. Had to pay out for the MOT repairs and for getting OH's car fixed - £840 in total
    2. Had vet bills totalling £500 :(
    3. Still haven't done my tax
    4. Can't think of a 4. :D
Well - 11-3 to the good guys! Not a bad result. Things are going OK methinks.

    Another to add:

    Good:
    12. Just tranferred the new balance (see bad on previous post!) from my visa to my mint card - 0% till July! :T Should be able to clear it by then.

Feeling very positive today. Have managed to keep up with the Olympic Gold challenge - mainly through matched betting. To get to £3000 in 6 months I need to raise an extra £115 a week. Currently up to £238 (end of second week) so am slightly ahead - and I will be earning an extra £25 today dog training. Should help get next week's total off to a good start. :T

Am going to tackle my tax return today. That will be the last big expense to sort out and then we will be able to stick to budget and get back on the debt free trail.

Not started my tax return yet. Don't even know where it is!!! Another phone call to make on Monday I think otherwise I will be in bother with HMIT.

The olympic challenge is going well all round I think. I am on target but it is sustaining this level of ebaying that I am worried about. I may be selling the carpets and curtains, at this rate. And the children are not safe either

I paid an extra £50 off my egg card today. Not huge but every little will hopefully make a difference to my snowballs!
