On spot fines for bad driving
Comments

I think it's a great idea, there's plenty of poor driving on the road that people get away with every day because they know the paperwork involved - travelling the same short route to work at the same time every day I KNOW which cars to look out for - it's the same ones that pull into traffic without using their mirrors, that pull out in front of me as if I were invisible.
I'd love to see tw@ts like them getting a nice little fine and a few points on their licence to remind them that just because they pay road tax that doesn't mean it's THEIR road.;)
I really hope it works, or at least makes a few drivers think a bit more before they do something stupid / annoying / dangerous!:DMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Pretty much sums it up.
If you're in lane 1 undertake someone in lane 2 and carry on in lane 1, chances are the police will do nothing (so long as you're at or below the speed limit).
If you're in lane 2, move into lane 1 undertake and move back into lane 2 chances are the police would pull you over for a quick chat."One thing that is different, and has changed here, is the self-absorption, not just greed. I do wish people would link only to reputable news sources.

^^ I have done none of that, so im not worried.... Im really not worried.
Now.... Isn't it a little childish to turn this entire forum into an anti-strider campaign? Especially when your just making yourselves look stupid?
And scooby, your new here... I understand your basic need to fit in with the "regulars", just like the school play ground, it's join the "in crowd" or stand up on your own two feet..... I always chose the later myself, but then I never would make a very good sheep.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

No...?
Maybe if you drove with your eyes on the roads/surroundings (road markings, black Mini's pulling out etc...) then we wouldnt have an "anti Strider campaign..."

So because I new I'm no allowed to comment about your terrible driving?
You don't need 5000 posts to see you shouldn't be behind the wheel. Good job you can stand on your own two feet, you may need them when your banned.0 -

The rest, will be untraceable......
Yesterday, two young lads in a Lexus power sliding around a busy traffic island (RWD). I remember thinking "what are the chances he's not insured and has that car registered to to a false name/address?", I feel sorry for the poor sod who eventually catches that car when it ploughs off the road!
If they risk getting the car taken off them for no insurance then why wouldn't they get their moneys worth out of it.Mankysteve wrote: »They'd put a flag on the car and the individuals there prints will be on the database when they go down to the station and most cops are not fools and know when there being lead on one.
At least the car will be off the road and crushed now.
They buy a new bangor and that one will be taken off them and crushed.
Great so with the laws we have now, people are being encouraged to drive badly with rubbish cars and to top it off the police get another law to harrass normal people with.0
