Yup. And more arguments from the drivers who undertake with due care because of the real idiot in the middle lane...0

A good idea but will it really work, how many times have you had someone cut you up on the road but you never see a police car. And if they're going to try and cut down on things like inconsiderate parking that causes problems, are they going to include the copper that parks on yellow lines or in a bus stop while he goes to the chippy.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

One of the reasons is that currently if someone does get nicked for driving without due care the police officer will have to go away and fill-in a bunch of paperwork.
I've heard that in some countries 1 point fixed penalties for minor traffic offences are handed out like sweeties."One thing that is different, and has changed here, is the self-absorption, not just greed. Everybody is in a hurry now and there is a 'the rules don't apply to me' sort of thing." - Bill Bryson0 -
Apparently we’ve all got much better at driving, there were 125,000 convictions for bad driving in 1985 which had fallen dramatically to 29,000 by 2006.0
