I think Britain as a nation tend not to be very self praising and I think that's why so few people become massively successful because we feel that we have to talk down our achievements...Americans are so much the other way and always seem so positive ( I know not always the case)
I think we all need to just take a second and think hold on a minute, look where I was a year ago!
As I wrote that I thought of LL and wondered if she is managing to have the relaxing enjoyable holiday she so very much deserves?! I hope sotrainee millionaire (aka not there yet!)0 -
I hope so too.
Its funny, I'm quite Americanised in a lot of ways - and within the family, I'm still quite English about not praising or blowing my own trumpet, but in the everyday world sans family, I've got no trouble

Great idea to write down some goals again, I am always more motivated when I have something written down. I think its because I like to cross them off, I have even been known to write something extra I have recently completed on a list, just so I can cross it off
I shall have a think for some goals.
That guy I always talk about on here Brendon Burchard covers being sucked into the drip drip of emails over the day and also gets you too really look into if they are fulfilling your goals or someone else's.

It really does make you think, but being unselfish I do like to full-fill other peoples goals as well, so am not as strict as he says.
Well done with your monthly excess! There will always be people richer in the world, meh.
Well done also for paying off your Dad.
You are right to save some and I would say keep tabs on your outgoings, as they can all to easily creep up.
Congratulations Muhren :T. Hope the new job will be all you want it to be.

I agree when you are having an unmotivated day, do anything. If I am having one of those days, I set myself a tiny challenge to get up and do x in the next advert break. Lots of things really do take a few mins so you can fit them in and usually you then continue as you are on a role, but even if you didn't I reason I could clean my whole house in the ad breaks of a day, so you would have still achieved something.
I have a feeling LL will be having a great time, she does come across as a person that will find the positive even in sh1te times and make the best of things.

41 weeks is mad, have you got a count down calendar?
It is mad, absolutely - but the closer it comes, the more I see how right it is. I'll still be working at raising money online through writing, matched betting etc (not that I do the m.b. now) but I won't be doing my actual professional work any more, that's whats causing me the burnout issue.
2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hello all. I am mainly lurking, as I am constantly side-tracked by my 11 month old son - he doesn't nap unless we are driving in the car. Nor does he sleep much at night
Add in 2 x 1hr+ daily commute to drop my daughter to school, a few chores and errands, and I am happy to simply be alive these days haha.
On the money-making front, I am using twitter more often, tweeting out my referral links for a few sites I use such as Prolific Academic, Clixsense etc. It's been worthwhile me doing this as I have had some people sign up and once they have earned some money so have I.
OK - back to chores and lurkdom!Your biggest asset is TIME! I'm focused on multi-generational financial freedom.0 -
Hi Listerbelle - oh my word, you must be seriously exhausted! Hope it all improves soon.
However, I confess ... I don't know quite what you mean by the tweeting out links. You literally just put your referral link out there on twitter and say, join this? Cool!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Thank you - I do too!
Yes, I simply send out a tweet that says something like "I love being paid for my opinion." And then I add my referral link at the end of my statement.Easy!!

That's downright ingenious
Why thank you :j
I also include a couple of hashtags like:
SAHM deals cashback save
Or whatever random words come to mind.
I'm sure there's a science behind it, but that would require some research on my part :rotfl:Your biggest asset is TIME! I'm focused on multi-generational financial freedom.0
