I did write a rant out but I'm deleting it as it's not helping things. Something happened the past couple days (nothing major) but it really has clicked a switch in my head.

I need to be better - money, health, time management, businesses.

    Goals for end of 2015;

    Lose 3/4 stone
Save up £1,000 cash and pay my Dad back
Stop wasting time on my phone/facebook
Make time to focus building my business (website, add ons to sell, business cards etc)

Anyone else joining me? I want to start 2016 on good footing...so the only way to do that is to end 2015 on good footing.

I feel like I'm faffing about a bit too much as well ... but today, I managed to start work on investigating clickbank properly, seeing how it can help me.

I'll be joining you on ending 2015 on a good footing, absolutely - for me, thats about getting the garden weeded and pruned - I've been so ill this year that its become a bit of a disaster zone. Not terrible, not really, but it needs attention. And anyway, I'm in the middle of week 41, counting down to my retirement :) life will most certainly change!

  • im terrible for faffing..i have ended up leaving my phone in the car a couple of times to stop me keep faffing
I have hopefully managed to refinance my remaining loan so the monthly payments are half and I can pay a couple of last niggly bits off too. I will probably still pay the same each month but its knowing the commited repayment is half that makes it easier.

I am terrible for procrastinating, as you can probably tell from my time spent on here. I really want to focus on work going into the new year. I have been struggling with motivation so I need to address that as a starting point (maybe find some sort of motivational book or something).

Talking about work, I received a phone call this morning from one of the interviewers and he offered me the job!!! I have to work a 3 month notice period in my current role so won't be starting until next year, hence why I want to sort myself out for the start of next year.

  • wow that's great news congratulations! New year new start!
Its hard to motivate yourself particularly in winter with the weather and people winding down for Christmas. Im terrible this week.Im currently at home having given up on my days work. As ive said before its lik im sabotaging myself...I could have got loads done today, finished the job tomorrow and had Friday off but noooooo not me! haha
On the plus side ive come home and had a bit of a sort out and sorted my accounts etc out.Just about to have half an hour as I was up half the night with a headache. Then off to get a few bits of food shopping and school run urgh!

motivation wise im crap so not the best at advice but I find doing something, anything to kickstart yourself helps. When im having a 'down' day as I call it (I sometimes cant get out of bed) I start by just putting a wash load of clothes in..then because im already in the kitchen I think ill just make a brew...which of course means I then think ill just wipe this work top..before you know it the house has been turned upside down haha

Oh wow that's great!! :-) Congratulations. I hope you enjoy it. Shame about your current role it's ridiculous these notice periods sometimes..

I am being better about my phone but it's hard as I constantly get e-mails and whatsapp which are business related, I also have to keep an eye on my photography business page messages (don't get a lot but like to respond quickly when I do) and then just general phone calls and texts from hubbie etc...

I paid my Dad off last night so that's the debt cleared. My business account is a bit low because of it but Xmas has started and the amount of money I am bringing in it's just piling straight back up again.

We have £700+ excess a month income now after bills/food with me taking a small wage out my business each month. I kept telling my Hubbie that once things came together we would be better off and here we are. It's not a lot to most people but it's more then I've ever had 'spare' but not going to take it for granted...time to fill those savings pots and look towards a better future...

I'm sorry to be a bit "self praise" but I feel like we really have worked hard to get here and things have finally come together...the only way is up.

Thank you guys. It is going to be a totally different job with more pressure so I hope I am going to be up to it.

Tink that sounds very much like me, I struggle to get out of bed sometimes, although it sounds once you get going you really start to motor!

Kayalana, you don't have to be sorry I think that is what the thread is about, success stories will help spur others on to achieve their goals. So keep it coming!

Definitely lots to celebrate, you're right, Listerbelle :) Muhren and Kaya especially - well done both :):):) Tink - thats good advice, thats what I've ended up doing - just do *something* and it will go from there. Hope your headache goes.

I've done the About Me/Hire Me pages on both my blogs - on one of them, I'm also going to have a list of posts, like MMM has, because it will act as a kind of index. Been looking at what's available on clickbank too, some interesting things among some problematic ones.
