That’s an inspiring mindset — setting goals and actually following through is half the battle already won. You’ve proven discipline and adaptability by switching careers successfully, so the “Millionaire Challenge” isn’t mad at all, just ambitious. Starting with savings and property income gives you a solid foundation. Next steps might include diversifying investments (ISAs, index funds, or side ventures) and reinvesting profits strategically. Track progress yearly and adjust as your earnings grow. With consistency, smart budgeting, and time on your side, reaching that £1 million goal by 40 is challenging—but absolutely achievable.

Oh just a thought, anybody wanting to accept the millionaires challenge may wish to read "Think & grow Rich" I have unfortunatly never read the full book, as I just get so far through and end up getting distracted with busy life. However it gives a guide on the principles of succeeding in becoming rich or achieving big goals.

Also reading the "richest man in babylon" would be a good idea too. Infact I think everybody should read the book as its pretty short so their is no real excuses and gives some basic ideas on how to manage money and help yourself become financially better off and enjoy life as well.
I would have achieved my goals so much sooner if I had read "Richest Man in Babylon" when you first mentioned this.
