Bossofmoney said:Well done, stebiz. It might well not be sitting in the bank but you are still a long way ahead of most of us, some will never get as far as you have managed so I hope you (rightly!!) feel a sense of achievement and pride.
For myself, my own update, my networth is up £36k in 2022. Its been a real eye opener of a year. Net worth has gone ^^ but actual money in the bank has dwindled. Need to have a frugal start to the year and rebuild.
Hope this thread takes off again once everyone kick starts their new year resolutions, safety in numbers and all that!
Keep going folks.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies1 -
Very interesting thread. Depends on where you live I guess for property millionaires. Much easier in London than Redcar or Grimsby ? This thread has got me thinking. Can I be a millionaire in assets in say 10 years ? Time for a plan for a bit of fun.Jan. 2025 Final LBM (3-yr plan)

It's always got to be worth a try. I haven't achieved it (yet), but I'm always looking out for ways to improve things financially, though not with property.1

Congratulations stebiz........here's to the next million.🥂I finally legally completed on my house on 5th December and am now happily esconced in my rented house, whilst I look for the next "project".I did really well with the last one, helped of course by the buoyant market. Made a nice tidy profit so it's onwards and upwards.Anyway.....
Happy New Year to one and all. Wishing you all health, wealth and happiness.2 -
I'm late to the party and being ancient I'd better get a move on. Being ancient means I'm pensioner and relying on a state pension, a small works pension and some surveys to get by. This was fine until the cost of everything went crazy, and I had to make do without a lot of heating. I can cook really cheap meals. I'm not prepared to put up with this so I'm making plans to start moneymaking on the net. Wish me luck. I'll let you know when I make the million.
Don't mess with pensioners. :cool:4 -
Good luck. I've made very little progress, I'm not a pensioner but often I feel that I've left it too late. Hopefully not.2

I found this thread today. I got invested in the enthusiasm and the OP's ambition. I then noticed how old the thread was so I wanted to know if they'd made it? I can see their account has been inactive since 2016. I hope they became a millionaire and are living the dream! I guess we may never know.....1
