I have made about £60 after 4 MB's :j, I know others speed through them but I am taking it slow and steady at the moment as I really did not know anything about any betting prior so had to learn all the lingo/ different bookie sites etc going along.
I nearly made a stupid and costly mistake earlier :o managed to sort it though, but I honestly don't think if I had not been researching it all so much I would not have had a clue.
I was talking to a mate previously about MB, and I know she will be interested so I have signed up to the affiliate scheme on the site, so I can earn some extra though that.
Might as well as she was going to anyway if things went ok with me.
I am not going around chatting to people about it generally though as I am not going to feel any guilt if people mess it up, or decide to go off on one and gamble.
Interested to see where I am with it at the end of the month.

I see some people on the shopping area have been also utilising the new 20% off so many items at Waitrose alongside multibuy offers, so going to have a look at that as I also have some £8 off £40 spends. Think I will try and stock up on some meat for the freezer.

I also need to get back over to the elite threads, and pick up some tips and tricks.

Does anyone else forget the thanks at the end of posts, I always do, and then go back after and thank.

Yes I always forget yo thank, and then, like you, go back. I thought I was the only person to do,this....

Unfortunately we don't have Waitrose but I did nip into M&S today, just in time to catch the yellow sticker bargains.

So of course I loaded up my basket. we shall be eating like kings:D

Really tired now, so tomorrow I shall have a quiet catch up day and then it's back to the millionaire quest.....;)

Minxy - well done on the MB that's a cracking start.

Yep, thats great minxy - and I'd call that fast, actually, good for you.

I didn't know about the waitrose thing - I'll have a looksee at that. What's the elite threads that you mention, are they somewhere on here, minxy? I think I stay in my own little cubbyhole too much, even here on mse!

Below is some info about the Waitrose thing.

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5266081

The elite people are amazing I used to stalk the thread and only posted a few times with offers, as the threads move crazy quick.
It takes a little while to understand what is being talked about (well used to be anyway), lots about glitches, and how to get the best offers out of price guarantees etc.
I still have some Sains "radox" equivalent which was on there 2p a bottle!

Like I said I need to get back on there but need a good few hours to read through the whole thread and get up to speed.

You want to get about like me Karma :D- I am all over the site (I'll get a name for myself :p) even areas at first look would not need to , but knowledge is power.

I am glad both you and LL think thats good going for the MB, there was someone on a thread re MB that was up about £200 already and had been doing it about a week but about 5 or 6 hours put in, I have put in that and then some with all the reading.
But I am very happy with it.

Karma - have a fab holibob, anywhere exciting?.. Me being nosey.

Bit grey here - I was hoping to get out in the garden but it looks like it's about to chuck it down.

Ds2 helped my replant baby trees into bigger pots last night. It's my little nursery garden in readiness for the next house......I buy small plants and saplings, take cuttings of perennials etc - saves a small fortune.......I'm especially pleased with this little lot, they have really taken off. I soent around £20 last year on some baby shrubs and saplings. To buy them now at the size they are now woud cost at least £200.

Just going to ring a couple of EAs and book some viewings.

Do I go for go for the Grade II listed wreck in a much favoured area. It requires at least a year of hard slog and probably a small fortune spent on it, but it does have potential for some serious profit.

Or do I take the easier option and go for the 1990s build which is in a less favoured but still popular area which just needs a bit of TLC and a thorough garden overhaul.....

I'll go and see them. I could always put in cheeky offers and see what happens.

You can send me the affiliate link if you'd like, not 100% sure I will get round to doing it but I seem to me less busy with work lately.

I would imagine the grade 2 is a big project but a money pile to be made? That book you recommended said to me find the worse house on the best street after all..

    Have a good holiday :-)

I was thinking last night about this whole loosing weight thing and I just need to do it. I've been wanting to lose weight for years and I don't think I go a day without thinking about it but not actually doing anything about it...but I just thought how long would it really take to lose 2-3 stone? Probs 3 months if I kept at it? So for sake of 2-3 months of my life I'll be fitter/healthier etc....

I don't think I have been over eating overall, we do tend to have more then our fair of takeaways and I don't do that much excersice but on a day to day basis our meals are getting healthier and healthier (we have even done small things like swap to brown bread and brown pasta.. even having pasta meals is a step up as I think their was a time we were having chips 3-4 times a week) but getting on scales this week I have gained around 2-3 pounds.. it's hard to grasp exactly as my scales is a bit up and down but I was around half a stone mark and now it's creeped to 3/4 mark (prbs over space of a few weeks tbf though)

I'm not OTT over weight, but could def use to lose a few pounds and it would be nice to get down to a size 12 and just feel better about myself in general so as of today I am going to really put some effort in.

My hubbie brought me a twix last night which somehow I forgot to eat so I've put it on top of the fridge as a test to myself...I won't eat it until I've lost the 3/4 weight, I could throw it away to stop the temptation but this way it's a small reminder of what I want to achieve. At first I was thinking 'just this and then I'll start my diet' but I have to start now or I'll never get anywhere.
People don't know what they want until you show them.

North Norfolk - we go every year, different rented cottage each time, which is weird for me because I've never returned like that to a place, but its convenient for my mum to get to (changing trains is difficult at age 89 on your own!) and we have lovely rellies there that none of us would see otherwise.

Weird weather - grey and sunny by turns, because its been *very* windy.

Thats a big difference! I'm already mourning the loss of my garden in case I *do* have to move from here, even if I move into a flat, I'd definitely want to take cuttings/pots with me.

Yes Gary McCausland would advocate the big job with the big potential. Ive just looked at the recent sold prices and it looks like a goer. Anyway ive booked viewings for 3 properties at the weekend.

I'm not scared of such a big project provided I can get it at the right price. Ive got a great team of builders, trades people and now even a nice architect. The only real problem that I can see is that It is subject to one of those daft modern auction thingies, you pay a £5k reservation fee which is non refundable.......so the reality is I guess I would have to do a,lot of pre offer checks to make sure all is well, before I part with that kind of money.

Anyway one step at a time, if it has my name on it then it will all come right. If not, houses are a bit like buses, another one comes along sooner or later.

Re the weight, join me and we'll get slim and rich together.......:rotfl:

    Right time to get cracking.......

Karma I hope you have a lovely holiday.

    LL
Great savings, excited to see if any of the houses you mention are goers.

    Kay
will send you a pm, gives you enough to win aprox £40 before you have to pay for all the other software/offers (if you want to carry on).
You might be able to do it alone and save the monthly/yearly fee but I just did not have a clue, so thought I would start with it and then weigh up afterwards.
Best wishes with the weight loss plan.
