I made my toffee vodka on monday, and used one bag of Lidl's fake Werthers for one 75cl bottle of vodka. I thought "it's going to take ages for this stuff to dissolve, even with me vigorously shaking it all the time", so I poured it into my blender and gave it a good whizz until I could only hear the light flutter of crumbs in there instead of the loud churning of the big lumps.

did it all fit back in the original bottle ????

Can I just ask though, if you are heating the vodka, doesn't the alcohol evaporate? I want to have a go, but want to make sure they stay nice and alcoholic lol!

you only need to warm about 1/4 of a cup so its minimal waste

Skittles flavour vodka is the best ;) I found one large bag of skittles do a standard 75cl bottle once you have taken enough out to make room for the skittles... (I pour about half out and then top it back up if there is room ;))
NOTE take the GREEN skittles out - don't use these in this vodka - if you do it'll look a horrid murky brown! If you take them out it'll be a delish red/orange colour :)
Takes about 2 days for them to dissolve fully :)

    Yummy scrummy!
