Yes I know and I am thankful, I am just disheartened and I wanted that to come across. What I actually need is to make some more strides, just for a bit. x

Pick up your bottom lip - your progress is hardly stagnant. Look at your PPI victory and how far that has progressed your goals. You are one of the major inspirations on here:j.

If you are so dissatisfied with your strides then what does that say about the rest of us! You have and are making huge progress, and footy analogy or not, you can't win the league every year.:o

Ok !!! kicking over, love to you xx J:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I agree with Gargrave ... you two are inspirations to us all! Am off to bed as today's work has wiped me out and am knacked ... had a meeting after work so it's been hectic today ... looking forward to an uninspiring weekend ... and a relaxing half weeks holiday .. conference for the second half then off to england for the funeral ... so much for saving money ... although DH is being a p***k right now and trying to get me to do it all his way instead of mine ... wish i had a debit card and i didn't need his! although tempted to ask my dad if i can use his and put the money in his bank account ... darn you HSBC for denying me!!!!!

And bonsibabe (grr quote didnt work...)

Well I am more of a what not to do manual, living and breathing in my opinion. And both Mrs G and myself can probably show a good pair of heels at borderline alcoholism and juggling work and home life and never paying full price for anything.

Its kinda cool though. (apart from the acoholism which is tongue in cheek) So thanks.

Hope the hubby and the money all behave.

    xx

Thanks SBO. I have taken Gargrave's advice and in true MSE have gotten myself a notebook ... free of charge ... proper moneysaving there!!!!! I will start writing in it as of the 1st of November so that I know exactly what is happening financially in my house.

ATM not even sure that I am going to make it down to my aunty's funeral so waiting to find out what is happening. OH is another story right now and TBH not really feeling up to talking about it ATM as things are downright bad. But on one side ... his handouts are FINISHED!

Am going to bed ... was late for work this morning as slept in ... need a new alarm clock!!!!! So off to see if I can get a free one with my rewards from the catalogue .. must remember to write to them as I haven't had any rewards in about 18 months grrrrrr ... have read the t&c's and should be due something from them !!!! littlewoods chief exec can expect a disgruntled letter from me!!!!

    Later folks xxx

Indeed we can ;). Some have been more fun than others - like the alcoholism and never paying full price for anything :D.

Oops sorry SBO ... the advice for the notebook came from you ... ashamed now ;)

Well today has been poop ... still waiting to find out if the manager from hell will give me 2 days compassionate leave with pay to attend aunty's funeral ... need to travel on the sunday, funeral monday, bus back on tuesday ... can get tickets for me and my dad for £60 all in ... but only if I can get the tickets booked in advance ... that and dad wants to organise our accommodation ... aaarrrggghhhh!!!!! Going to phone him on Monday as I am on a week's hols ... he has to be the most incompetent fool going ... he got the promotion even though I had been doing the job for 18 months ... and has the cheek to ask me how to do things ... have gotten to the stage of telling him to do what I did ... work it out for his-self!!!!

Well ... the plan for tomorrow morning is to get a whole load of pics taken of various items to list on ebay for the free listing weekend ... listing hubby's mess dress from when he was in the army ... never been worn and cost us £800! Probably be lucky to get £200 if anyone bids for it but going to be cheeky and try for £500 at least!!!!! (have to check but if it is allowed I will put a buy it now or nearest offer on it) ... cheeky but fingers crossed!

Well I have loads of magazines to list and a couple of broken watches and a mobile phone that doesn't really work but a techie person could fix it, a working mobile phone and some other stuff we no longer need ... if it gets me some spare cash for christmas then hey ho and if there is any left over for debts then all the better!!!!!!!

Hope you have a great weekend all xxx

Do you have a mobile phone? Even the older ones have a built in alarm - save the rewards for Christmas presents :)
