  • I know exactly where you're coming from! I've only just started to feel 'normal' again after changing my anti d's to a new one. And it's amazing to have back my old positive attitude and able to pick myself up quickly after a fall (which we all have)...are you taking tablets for the pnd or able to cope without?

I should delete half of my diary cos of all the negativity in it lol :p

  • Morning Skint

I actually like your post - it's open and honest and I think a good thing to be. I hate it when people are like that - we too have a young child - however I make my feelings known and then sometimes wish I hadn't - working on it.

You've been down and you're coming back up - all part of this yo-yo ride we have along our debt free journey's - although this one for you was not debt free related I know.

    Keep swimming xxxx

((hugs)) no one ever said it was going to be easy

  • No tablets just giving my head a shake and borderline alcoholism but I may have to get more counselling sooner rather than later. x

Will see how I am after half term, if no better, I will take some steps.

  • Yes a couple of times a week I tend to over indulge in red wine. And I also have the odd glass or bottle of lager on the way to the weekend.

I dont know if I am strong its probably just not as bad as yours is to be honest.

Im still avoiding my parents a little, sent the husband last night as I think the sister incident might be a bit taxing as I need to hear about it repeatedly, and now I am home with my peeps I am getting so much better and I dont want anything knocking me back.

This isnt very nice I know as my parents are good to me but I am opting out of madness.:A

  • And you know I am now absolutely livid. Its p*ss boiling time again. Someone I know has posted on Stupid Facebook about the Dale farm evictions. Whatever you think about all of this is going to be contentious I know. However this person has focussed on the fact Marina Pepper is a former topless model, therefore her opinion does not count it seems. Whether shes right or wrong is immaterial, its the fact the world has seen her baps that counts.

In a former life worked as a stripper for a year. Does this define me? People saw more than my baps. They saw unrealistically small knickers, made of blummin cheese wire.

This isnt known to many people, I travelled 14 miles to do it and often wore wigs and crazily heavy makeup and lashes etc.. Its not something I advertise (I just have) I am deeply ashamed but I had no money and it was the easiest way to make some and be able to spend time with the kids. I had a great figure in those days, was a qualified aerobics teacher did weights and triathlons - and was always tanned and toned.

I am on a significantly higher grade at work than this bigot. I just hope it never comes out or I will have to leave with the shame of it all.

I shouldnt be ashamed, it allowed me to take them to school pick them up, do a relevant qualification to get a proper day job, buy them clothes - my husband had just left me without a penny in the bank.

But I am. I dread if my children found out. My husband knows as he found some "outfits" during a cupboard clear out.

    But you know.

    Meh.

    Hi Skint.

PLEASE don't be ashamed of being a stripper!!

Prossie, perhaps (But even then circumstances can dictate) but not a dancer.

That is ART and getting paid for it is no crime.

Love yourself as others obviously did at the time.:)

    (Got Any Pics BTW.:) )

But (Briefly) Just HOW have you reduced your debt by £30k in 6Mths?

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.
  • Thanks it was a means to an end for me, and I am not ashamed really but where I work is pretty straight laced, and kids can be funny...

Well it was settlement figures, I managed to get some really good ones. Ok, my credit report is in tatters because of defaults, but anyway, I got rid of 22k of debt for 8.5 k in total.
