  • I agree with fd. If I had made those sort of payments ( who cares how) then I would be crying with joy as well. It is such an amazing achievement. And things always seem better with a nice cuppa but as I said before if I drank tea in bed then I'd be peeing all night and that is not good :D

Give me strength, there could be bodies in the lake and all kinds.

Indeed there could, but at least none of them would be yours!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Anyway drawing a line under yesterday. Today is being rather poo as well as I have managed to annoy the husband. I am not being silly about how much money I have paid off, I know lots of people have made reference to it, but lets draw a football analogy here. Its one of the best things I do. Ladies, this is not as good as Thierry Henri in a polo neck saying va va voom. But its one of my passions, is football.

Liverpool, in the 1970s won loads of stuff. Its gradually petered out and then in the past few years they have won nowt. I feel like a liverpool fan (only in this regard, I am dyed in the wool Newcastle united but they have never had a glory past I can remember just the 1950s anyway I digress) a lack of recent trophies and while there is a cabinet full of past glories you are only as good as your last game. If you are consistantly investing but not winning the league or a cup regularly you become disappointed and disillusioned. I feel like I am consistantly investing in my Blue Square league side. Its turning out on a daily basis, playing its 11 a side and subs are on the bench raring to go, but of late we have had to play Chelski, had a really ropey referee and our pitch has flooded. I know the worm will turn, but the last couple of months have really affected our fans, they expect us to lose and all five of them are not turning up, we only get one or 2 in now.

I need that next victory, or I will hit the bottle and end up with a nose like Alex Ferguson. I will update on afternoon break as I spent this mornings break being perculiar.

I have also quoted Ironman and Frank Slade today in an off the wall popculture melee, which has thrown people.

The husband has emailed me and has been trying to massage my ego.

Trying to dissect me with his bland little tools. (hannibal lechter, silence of the lambs) Im a veritable IMDB quote machine. Who needs google. x

  • Yes I know and I am thankful, I am just disheartened and I wanted that to come across. What I actually need is to make some more strides, just for a bit. x

Ive a lot to be thankful for and I will be even more thankful if my 15 year old car manages the 200 mile round trip at the weekend without incident!
