Hope your DD had a lovely birthday. I think the white TV's look pretty snazzy. My DD is cash rich as well after her birthday ! She has asked me to hide it from her though so that she doesnt spend it which is very unlike her.
I really need to get back into the batch cooking but have fallen off the wagon really with that recently.
Sorry to hear you are still feeling poorly xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Well I do update my signature as in amounts paid, I just dont change the snowball until a month has passed because of interest and whatnot.
My "official" dfd is now December 2015. That is 30 months. I have realised my goal and could- if I wanted - work to the snowball. I dont want to. I want to claw back at it get it even closer to today. I can do it by cycling money and using the lower interest cards and payiing extra off the more expensive ones.
Husband and I have agreed, that debts in my name should be going first, so they are. Amex is on course to be gone by September. Vanquis - before the end of the year. December is too far away. I am sure I can get my lodger in the other house sell loads of ebay and hammer it.
Will be talking to the husband about an action plan once we have our lodger.
Fun times!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
I am waiting to see how you get on with your lodger. I am hoping at some point to get someone in here and move myself on but the whole thing scares me to death. I just need to grow some and get on with it. I'll never get on in life if I don't have some courage :eek:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
Oh the lodger will be more of a tenant at the other house. Im having no one in my house, I dont have the room and if I did I would get an irish wolfhound.

Today, I have paid another 100.50 off things, and updated my signature. This is because I can do it early, the child benefit is due in on Monday and there is nothing else from the allocated monies which is due out til Tuesday, so I can close the week with a much more acceptable amount owing on Vanquis. I have made the minimum payments I had to on everything, so feeling nice and clean!
Thus far, no announcement of a free listing weekend on ebay, so it looks like I will create the listings, and then can do a copy and paste the next time.
Last night I spent a good few hours making paper logs. I didnt do the ebay photography, nor the ironing nor did I do any surveys. I didnt even package the ebay So naughty.
I had my tea at 7, had a shower and went to bed. I am still not feeling dreadfully well. I am functioning and working and paying things but I really need to make a concerted effort to get some work done tonight.
Packaging the ebay must be a priority so i can post it in the morning.
I am really after an irish wolfhound. My DH is concerned as they are giant dogs, longevity isnt a feature of the breed. He is a former hamster keeper so one wolfie equates to four hamsters. I am a current keeper of a 14 year old german shepherd and a 12 year old retreiver. They are growing old disgracefully, and they are fabulous characters. I would want a dog to learn from the mad old dears before they go senile.
I really need to get well and I really need to get some more money made.
Will book my work car on monday to travel on Wednesday, should mean some overtime which will be lovely and will help with Vanquis no end. I have already planned all my payments for next month, and other than ebay and overtime and things I have thirteen pounds of wiggle. God help me, this austerity is a tough call.
Any ideas for schemes scams and general get rich ideas, much appreciated!:rotfl:Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Some people do crosswords, others suduko. Ive seen people flicking through the BBC news website and other people sit doodling. Less than 1% of conferencers actually fully engage in the minutae. I quite often question my attendance on these calls, only to be told that as a project leader its absolutely imperative that I am included. My 2 pennorth is often put in however everyone puts there 2 pennorth in. While the staffing levels for a particular work item can matter if it effects my delivery, Im not interested in Bettys holidays or Lindas dentist appointment, I just need the numbers available so I can do a calculation and then put a finger in the air that no one gets snowed in or develops nasty lurgy.
However sometimes we go on these calls and we get so much time we can make some lovely discoveries.
Not only have I discovered that I have met all my targets and have managed to remain organised in the face of madness - that was a nice discovery - but I have also made a lovely discovery that if I dont have to replace the car I can be debt free in 2 years and 2 months.
What an incentive! I am probably doing financial trickery that a greek bank would be ashamed of but I think I have it right.
I am rather excited, its all about cycling money through cards, creating interest free periods and being massively organised, but seeing as though I already have my April payments organised I can do it.
Thirty Months - gives me plenty wriggle room. Then its overpaying the mortgage!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Looking like the car is going to die fairly soon... no speedo, no handbrake, and a very hitty missy engine, oh well, I best begin to try and squirrel even more away!
Ive been a good girl. Paper logs have been done this weekend, to a grand scale. I also have a bag of shredded paper ready to put in the bucket tomorrow.
I will sit and fold some papers ready to shred tomorrow night while me and the husband watch some tv shortly.
We did 2 batch cooks this weekend. A lovely bacon and tomato pasta sauce and a pork stroganoff. A ten pound voucher came from V4lued opinions so we had mussels on Friday and steak on Saturday. Gerrin (will add that tenner to my money made on sig)
I Cleaned and decluttered my room and DD room on Saturday after DS football while the husband batch cooked. I was on ages but it feels lovely it was done. I discovered sadly her frog had died. I will bury her next to coco kitten.
Today I cleaned the kitchen and sorted a cupboard and I also made a couple of pies for the week. I cleaned out the fire and cleaned all the tiles on the hearth, pulled out the furniture and cleaned behind it.
Ive plenty planned for the rest of this week, still hoping to getg in the garden and mulch from the compost bin, but the snow is still hindering my gardening!
No time for everyones diaries tonight, will catch up tomorrow. Have a lovely sunday everyone. xx:TTrying to shift that debt!0
