Its for carrying things round in the garden! So exciting
Will update later, travelled with work yesterdayTrying to shift that debt!0 -
Finally, a meaningful update to my diary.
Now, I have travelled yesterday to Glasgow with work. Thats 5 and a half hours overtime (go me!!)
There was periodic bursts of sideways snow in the form of blizzards. I was a little bit perturbed by this, as the roads were dry and there was no snow at the sides of the roads, so where was it going?? I would love to know.
I am in an ok mood, but a little short on cash as things have been ringfenced for car hire, expenses were paid for petrol, and have yet to be reclaimed and I will be doing it as soon as I can. I am off next week but will do it from home. I am not shy!
Sold one ebay item yesterday I have new special items to list and hoping madly for free listing. I cannot pay listing fees!!
Just checked out the post office and their revised pricing. Seems a small parcel is an additional 40p onto the price of postage, just when I got used to the old prices, will need to keep my head in the game if free listing does transpire....
Paid 59p off Amex. I am chipping away at it, slowly but surely. I am going to scrap my idea of ten pounds a day as well. I need to not obsess about any other methodology, I am bad enough as it is with the moneysaving plots and schemes!!!
I am on leave this week with the kids, so will do my best - will make a couple of pots of broth and get more ebay sorting done, will catch up on my ironing as well, and declutter down at the other house.
I will try and show my face every day but if I miss, worry not!! I will merely be digging and living the good life!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
We should have had lunch !! Or at least a flask of cheap soup
I used to get term time at Easter. Oh how I wish I still did.
I gave up the payment a day thing too as it was stressing me out and I kept feeling like a failure every time I didn't manage a payment. We are pretty good at this so no need for the additional pressure. xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

We need to live and so do our kids so just put it behind you and move on. It's a long road we are travelling xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Good points from last week- quality time with the kids, and I managed to terrace the garden. Still need some scaffold boards or railway sleepers to shore up my newly terraced vista, but hey, its on its way.
Shed time will be only a paving slab away.
I am 797 pounds away from Month 29, however you live and learn and it has to be subject to a little slippage. This 30 months could drag into closer to 4 years but I always knew it was a tough slog, just didnt expect to fall at the first hurdle. However I shall call it the 30 month plan and continue on - whether that transpires to be 30 real months is another matter.
We have a freezer full of home made, batch coooked meals. Broth, bolognese, bacon pasta sauce, coq au vin, chili, curry, stroganoff all home made and padded out with extra veggies to make them stretch further. This is good as for the rest of the month apart from fruit n veg and the odd staple. I also planted some herbs up for my husband who loves cooking with fresh herbs!
Both my girls are away on holiday this week. DD1 is having a (boozy) few days in Barcelona with her mates. DD2 is in the lakes with her dad. DS is not feeling very well again. A sore throat is making him croaky. Poor little love.
Ebay is up to 24.98, my expenses are due to be paid, and I will be doing paper logs and surveys again tonight.
Bring on the drunks and dancing girls to bid on my chattels!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
64p paid off amex.:j Ebay sales made last night are a fiver, not paid as yet. boo!! More ebay finishing today and this evening so I hope some of the watchers decide to bid.
Had to run some errands last night for my parents, as my dads car is off the road, so failed on the paper logs and survey front. Once I got in DH wanted to eat and we watched Game of Thr0nes and I had a sit.
Tonight I will take DS to the GP and also I will do a little ironing and ebay photography and the feted paper shredding if I have time.
Won 54 pounds on the lottery- need to repair the car headlight - so will have 34 pounds to use for various things - Husband and I will use 24 pounds for our hobbies / treats as its unexpected money so I will get a bottle of wine and a plant for the garden! I know how to live :rotfl:the remaining tenner will get added to the money made and then paid off Vanquis.:A
Got a bit of headache today and feeling ropey but will need to crack on with work. Must check on everyones diaries, just havent had much time.... will start one a day tomorrow!!
